Big thanks to Jeff for the detailed review!
Given then immense popularity of the project, we have decided to:
- Add a USB-C power/data splitter
- Double internal storage from 8 GB to 16 GB
This will apply to all backers automatically
Thanks for all the support!

As of April 26 2025, the Estimated Delivery Date for the United States is December of 2029. Anybody know the reason for the huge delay.
ОтветитьThey are shipping now
ОтветитьI backed the Kickstarter and got 2 JetKVM's about a month ago. They're great.
Ответитьdo you know if we will be able to buy just the pcb (with all the stuff, a working jetkvm but without the case)? im interested, but i would prefer that to avoid paying for the machined case, imho thats overkill and way too fancy, i dont want the screen either and if i were to buy it, i would open it and use it without the case & without the screen regardless
ОтветитьThe campaign comment section tells a different story. Poor quality, defective units, no reaponse...and addons no longer available.
ОтветитьShouldnt this simply have PoE?
Or are those too expensive to build right into each device
so this is on a per machine basis? is it possible to have this tied to a VM rather than a physical machine? Will there be a multi-input device in the future?
ОтветитьHi can you elaborate on why the KVM can work even if the computer is off? does this mean I can run my computer's OS on another device while its turned off? or does it mean something else?
Ответитьi just want to say when you mentioned using your vpn to act as if your in the network i never thought of doing that for my homelab if my nginx manager fails that is enuine genius if im gunna be honest my jaw actualy dropped
ОтветитьHow does it compare to PiKVM over JetKVM? I saw this on Hardware Haven, and I was thinking of getting PiKVM but Is this different some how?
Ответить“It was DNS”
ОтветитьWhat are you using to hold those ethernet cables on the wall?
ОтветитьI finally got my JetKVM in a couple of weeks ago. After testing it out, I ordered a $80 KVM from Amazon with hotkey control to switch systems. This combo works flawlessly. I now control 7 systems in my server rack completely remote with access to BIOS prior to boot. Total game changer!
ОтветитьFix-It Felix Jr. ?
ОтветитьIt looks great and I backed them, but now after watching a few of your videos I wondering if you or you dad have solutions to control a HAM rigs like FTDX1 which unfortunately have only proprietary software for windows only and I don't use any m$ products at all
right now I am forced to use a windows running in vm to connect to my radio shack on my sailboat
It's a really solid idea, but the lack of WiFi, PoE and relative cursor movement makes it feel more like a college project, rather than a high-end server management product
ОтветитьHave people started receiving their JetKVM's yet?
ОтветитьBut can it control a Mac?
ОтветитьThere is a danger here that product seems to be so popular it will take a year honouring kick-start orders before doing retail sales. By that time cheaper Chinese versions using the opensource software could beat them to market ?
Ответитьfor $25 on aliexpress, nano kvm
ОтветитьHaha - great Phineas & Ferb reference there!
ОтветитьJust received my JetKVM as of 4th Jan 2025 in Australia. Works as advertised. Love it!
ОтветитьIf I donate 70$ do i get this regardless?? I want this little thing Jeff
ОтветитьIm gonna wait for it to be officially released...
ОтветитьDark mode should be the default not this burning hell white horror
ОтветитьI got three sipeeed kvm and one of these coming when it ships i hope.
ОтветитьI used to manage a large number of remote servers located several hundred miles from my office. The adoption of Dell DRACs (at my insistence) was a godsend. There's no way I would ever manage a remote server without that kind of functionality today.
Ответитьcould you test also Aurga Viewer?
ОтветитьA great little thing they could have done is made it magnetic on the bottom and then let you changed the position of the screen. Would allow you to mount it anywhere
ОтветитьCan I rename the Keyboard and Mouse like custom edid ?
ОтветитьI'm the lead sys engineer for an MSP and I could absolutely see ordering a few of these.
Most of our clients with on-prem hosting are small-mid sized businesses who are mostly running pretty consumer-spec hardware ranging from repurposed tower PCs to cheap rack-mount server chassis. This wouldn't be needed often, but even just in the last couple of months we've had a couple of businesses that have needed us to come out multiple times in a row racking up call-out fees, much of which could have been avoided with something like this where we can access the BIOS or launch hirens or something to troubleshoot issues outside of the OS with our RMM on it.
Hell (and this is just wishing at this point), what I'd really love is a version of this with WiFi with just a full-size HDMI port and a USB port. Leave it with the client, then if an issue comes up where we need access without the OS just ask them to plug the USB and HDMI in and we can deal with anything else.
I wont get one unless they make one that has poe or has a dedicated power port.
ОтветитьThey’re at $1.951M now…
ОтветитьKickstarter : give someone capital to start their dream company and get fuckall for it. No thanks. I don’t trust Kickstarter it’s a con. I back 4 projects and never got shit from any of them until I spent 45 hours emailing and talking on the phone with them to receive a crappy plastic laptop stand I could have gotten similar on apples website for less money and 2 years earlier. I waited 2 years and never got my money back. Don’t kickstart
ОтветитьSo, if you plug your PCs hdmi into this box, this mean you can’t use the pc locally ?
ОтветитьWow, the JetKVM looks like a game-changer for remote access! Its compact size and ability to control any computer from anywhere is super impressive. Definitely a must-have for anyone who needs seamless control over their devices on the go!
Ответитьwould be awesome do have such device that isnt so expensive as a rpi but got enough power to run pihole. this would be awesome for "small" "homelabber" like me, only got a beefy nas (i3-12100).
ОтветитьWhat about PiKVM?
ОтветитьI hope they succeed. I have already stocked up on traditional KVMs though.
Ответить*Kickstarter is not a store and we do not issue refunds.**
ОтветитьLooking forward to this. Ordered 3.
ОтветитьThis sounds like a great idea to create security risks…
ОтветитьI see you have a GMTEK N100 mini pc I guess ? Don't you have issue with it overheating ? When I use mine to do light Windows 11 works, I often feel the PC kind of locks up not because CPU is at 100% but because other components are too hot and the motherboard just locks everything. I already changed the thermal paste to MX-5 but still have some issue with it.
Ответитьfor $69 this seems too good to be true.....as a pikvm owner ill wait to see if they actually ship these things but I am interested if they actually ship them.
Ответитьi'd like to see POE on this device
ОтветитьLOM was that ai of its day, i remember battling with Sys admins in india who wanted a service engineer to flick a switch after a power cut etc lol
Ответить
