The best,you've saved me.
ОтветитьHi Tony great video! But i have a follow up question, how can i export only my inbox received email addresses? Like lets say I've received 1000 emails and i just want a list of the email addresses that emailed me. Is that possible? Thanks!
ОтветитьI'm very upset because I did all of this and although it worked fine transferring, when I went to my gmail and deleted everything to free up space ( which was the whole reason for this, it deleted my emails in takeout too. Wth? Why? Can someone help me with this please?
Ответитьthis is such a pain in the ass. i don't get why gmail doesn't just make a free plugin that downloads all emails you select as pdf. wtf
ОтветитьI find the browsing interface of ThunderBird not as convenient and clear as gmail. It separates every email rather than arranges them in a hierarchal order like Gmail does. Do you happen to know anyway to achieve that?
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you sir!
ОтветитьIf you're on a mac, just import the mbox from apple mail. Don't need any special tools or plugins.
ОтветитьMy import export MG tool doesn’t give all the options. Nothing for import inbox files. Mine says v14.0.1. Do I need a different one? My thunderbird is 115.8.1
ОтветитьI wanna download all my inbox email attachments from every email ever.
Ответитьthanks, and then the next step is how do i save all of those attachments from all emails automatically into a folder......?
Ответитьwhy does google Make this process so difficult t?
ОтветитьHi. I don't understand how Thunderbird works. After I sign in to Thunderbird it automatically loads all my emails from Gmail. So basically I wouldn't need to import them cause I alreay have them there. BUT... If I delete them in the original gmail account, do they get deleted from Thunderbird as well? I want to free up all the gmail space.
ОтветитьI was distracted by the Old Bay seasoning box on the shelf behind you. Now I'm just thinking of crab legs for lunch. thanks LOL
ОтветитьNice solution
ОтветитьIt seems that the only way to get text and pictures is to copy and paste each one at a time, to which is the format I need them to be in. can this be done any faster?
ОтветитьTBird has a mbox limit of 4GB
ОтветитьI just downloaded thunderbird and the importexporttools add on is apparently not compatible with this version of thunderbird. Any ideas?
ОтветитьThanks for this tutorial. How can you have these as regular files on a flash drive to view offline.
Ответитьthe add tool is not compatible what should you do?
ОтветитьIs anyone else getting the error that it’s not compatible with my version of thunderbird
ОтветитьI tried to find the plug in in the windows version of thunderbird and it does not see to be available
ОтветитьTony, I will complete this process soon. I was wondering if there is a way to delete all emails from the gmail server after I download all and get them into thunderbird? I was also wondering if I can have all future gmail messages auto download to local drive and delete from server?
ОтветитьThis doesn't actually work though. All it does is download junk like your email inbox preferences. There aren't actual emails in the files in that folder. The other problem is, there's no way to open the files that are downloaded either. Nothing is a .eml file, and that's what it would have to be in order to be readable.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьIs there a simple way to upload the MBOX to a 2nd gmail account to be used as a backup or if the original account is getting close being full. Been searching and can't find the answer. I use Windows 7
ОтветитьThanks was pulling my hair out when my storage was running low can't receive new emails!!! fuck paying for extra! Storage
ОтветитьSORRY, BUT THAT DOES NOT WORK!!!
ОтветитьIf i use school accout, will the admin notice from the log that i am downloading the email?
ОтветитьSo cool
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHi Tony,
Is there a way to download emails from one specific sender (outgoing and incoming)?
excellent! thank you!
ОтветитьI was going crazy trying to transfer all our emails from the old gmail to the new one. THANK YOU for so clearly showing and explaining how to do this! You truly saved the day!
ОтветитьVERY helpful tutorial, thanks a lot!
ОтветитьHi Tony,
Thanks for tech tip, I wanted to know if this mbox file will have all the email addresses (like to from cc bcc) before I give it a try.
Cheers
Can i get a method to extract student gmail directory email list
ОтветитьIs there anyway we can extract email headers from a downloaded email?
ОтветитьGreat video! I have four files...3 are Zip and one is MBOX. Any idea what the zip files are? I downloaded ALL gmail and Google Drive info.
ОтветитьTony you expressed very clearly for a person like me,who is not good at all these website stuffs. Wonderful! Thx!!! Joy seeker
ОтветитьI use Outlook 365. I've nearly filled up the 15gb of free space in Gmail. Does exporting the contents of my Gmail inbox mean that the space will be cleared up?
ОтветитьThank you -- very useful! Is there a way to make sure the inbox's label and folder structure transfers over? When I imported the mbox file into thunderbird, the emails were no longer organized
ОтветитьExcellent way of explanation. Thank you champ. Love from India
ОтветитьThis thunderbird thing doesn't seem to work for me for Windows
ОтветитьHi Tony, is it possible to select all emails conversations from one sender, I don't need to download my complete inbox.
ОтветитьLooks like the original emails remain on gmail, too. Like you're not downloading and removing them from the online gmail platform- is that correct?
ОтветитьYou are awesome dude thank you
ОтветитьHi Tony, Why can't you see the sent msgs in thunderbird when using this method?
ОтветитьGreat Video on backing up the data. Is there a bulk purge option for 32k messages in gmail? How do I clear out the inbox in gmail all at one time? Thanks again
ОтветитьCan we send files from Gmail to Adobe scan
