These are hard to get in the UK so I'm really trying to find a substitute that is just as good. I think pigeon peas came from Africa and spread to India and Asia..I could be wrong but this is in my head as I read it somewhere years ago. There are many African dishes using them. Do you have a substitute.???. I could buy them online Bhavna I mean Amazon has just about everything but you've got to wait for delivery which is a pain.
