The vase is, par excellence, the archetype for femininity and up to now is still connected to the female body. The most famous Italian vase is the amphora, which first of all is associated with red wine which, as a symbol for blood, in turn leads back to the fertile body of a woman.

Isn’t it most logical for a designer working for an Italian furniture producer to create a dining table in the shape of a stylized amphora whose sexy hip motion reminds of a dancing woman in the middle of a hilarious get-together?
