Stephen A is now an apologist for Trumpism. Disgusting. Jaylen Brown totally outclassed him. Love you JB!

The true cowardly actions is standing behind an unnamed source. Especially if it’s negative and you don’t agree why even bring them up ? Because he’s a threat to you.

Just watching 30 seconds in this video I can tell exactly why that is. Intelligent young black man who isn’t afraid to be himself. I can see why people would dislike him cuz people insecure more than they not ! Do yo thing Jaylen I’m rotting for u 💯

During my college basketball career, group punishment became routine as guys were essentially just failing to meet their off-court obligations. Group punishment only involved running, and lots of it. I'm more on the quiet side, but one day I had enough of team punishment and called out a coach for making us all run instead of punishing the culprits individually. Though, one of the dumber things I've done, it makes a case for the person critiquing Jalen's draft stock due to his intelligence potentially challenging authority. Coaches and GM's need players that fall inline and play their role, smart people in general are naturally inquisitive which at times includes challenging authority at some capacity. Not saying he was correct, because I see why someone can assume this based on the average skilled-smart player which is pretty much what I was. But, Jalen is not an average anything so it doesn't apply here.

I think Brown don't get it. Both Stephen A Smith and unnamed source is pointing out the dude is not Marketable. And it shows in this interview in which this dude comes across he has a very, very, very hard time brushing off criticism. Man grab a tissue box and brush that ish off.

Any retrospect any job, getting paid and promoted for destroying another persons finances shows truly how vile and disgusting some people really are. examples: banks, landlords, dealerships, JOURNALISM - competition is healthy, problem is the average joe is a greedy scumbag so why even create those jobs in the first place? Cuz most ppl lack common sense and need to be coddled in order for a community to work. some good ppl out there and they tend to be some of the faithful ones, cuz u can look at an example like SAS and see thru that childs eyes the complete opposite of sincerity. worlds going to hell :(

This guy is the biggest fraud in sports media. He is not fooling Jaylen. You cannot trust someone in the media who honors anonymity. Regarding Stephen A. Smith the athlete and Bighouse Gainesthe coach's relationship, Bighouse said, "The boy could not play dead!" What makes me an authority on Bighouse and Stephen A. Smith charade, I played varsity football and basketball for the legendary Bighouse Gaines at Winston-Salem State from 1960-1963. I lived with Bighouse and his family during my freshman year while attending summer school (unheard of). I dropped out in 1963 to chase my NFL dreams. In 2007 in Chicago during an Alumni Tribute to Bighouse, I received the first ever "Clarence 'Bighouse' Gaines Community Service Award. The distinguished alumni in attendance were Minister Louis Farrakhan and Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe. Fact Check: GOOGLE Muhammadaliandharoldbell / The Original Inside Sports is the frontrunner when it comes to sports talk in America. The format changed the way we talk and report sports in America. The benefactors of Inside Sports include John Thompson, Sugar Ray Leonard, James Brown (CBS), Mike Wilbon (ESPN), Dave Aldridge (TNT), Kevin Blackistone (ESPN), Cathy Hughes (Urban Radio), Christy Winters-Scott, Jemel Hill and Monica (ROUNDBALL REPORT).

Why bring it up? If Brown is all that and more why even air out some “unnamed source” trolling.

I didn’t see SAS say any of that after he read that statement. That’s the difference. Brown was right to ask him about integrity, if he respects Brown and knows what he was sent is false or untrue, but read it on air anyway. What does that say about SAS integrity? Seems to me he read it for shock value, for views. Where’s the integrity in that?

Brown wasn’t there to defend himself and his character.

Defamation? You can’t chalk everything up to journalism integrity, when are journalists held accountable for it?

Stephen A and the negative way he and his colleagues cover the league and the players directly contributes to the drop in viewership in the NBA. They should be building players up, telling their stories, but instead it’s always negative. Glad Jaylen had an opportunity to correct the narrative. First time in years I had any respect for SAS

I admire Jaylen but not Stephen A because he is a loudmouth faker who knows little about sports. The question that Jaylen was dancing around was this: Stephen A, are you content with yourself when you an anonymous text note to slur a man's character and reputation to your large audience? The unfortunate truth is that Stephen A has no hesitation to do so if it will help his career and pocketbook. But he would have never admitted it.
