Brian, how do you reel your spools? I have to re spool a few of my reels and I want to make sure I do it right any tips or tricks?

bait caster on a spinning rod????WTH Brian the googan bass fisherman!!! lol!!! just kidding I know you improvised adapted and overcame. You gotta do what you gotta do but don't go to Okeechobee like that!!lol!! They wont take you seriously.  I never learned to use a baitcaster. I like my Zebco 33 and my new bad to the bone spinner on a spinner rod!!lol. But I am wanting to work that baitcaster action. I don't care for the chest cam. To much movement and limited views. I prefer the two person one filming and the other catching. I just set my phone down somewhere and try to get me and where I am casting in the video at the same time which is pretty much impossible so iits one or the other. me or where I am fishing. Same with the chest cam its just where you are pointing it. Looks like Brian is wanting to fish more. It's about time for a cameraman to be hired or a good friend that works for a 6 pack of Landshark so everything is captured on "film" and I would think the videos would be better quality. Don't totally discard the chest cam idea. Might be cool to have a few shots with it. But I don't know anything but my opinion and my fishing videos only get on facebook for my low number of friends to see. My significant other won't go sit and point a camera at me while I fish dog gone it!! I hope yall slay them at Okeechobee! I went there and used live wild shiners and landed 3 bass all over 10-12 pounds,  and probably another dozen 5 pounders. They got big ole bass in there.

The chest cam is a good point of view but the fisheye effect should be removed using GoPro Studio.

I like the GoPro chest mount. It give a good view of how you fish with different rods.

You have to do what you have to do. You pay for college.Brian, I think we need to send you a baitcasting rod.13 fishing makes some great reels. 6.3.1 is the standard but they make all the way to 7.1 .  Keep at it you will be throwing like a pro in no time.

-Nice job on the Sailfish. Fishing kites looks like a pain, but it's benefits are obvious. Cool to see in action.

-The chest cam view looks good, it feels familiar as a fishing video viewer, especially in the way you used it. I think you used it on the boat the other day and the video was a bit too shaky looking (but I think the footage was from when you were driving the boat thru waves?).

Not a fan of the chest cam....that line is probably too heavy or stiff for that baitcasting reel. Always keep your thumb on the spool when you cast, you will get the hang of it. Brian, you are funny. I bet it would be easy to get Darci's goat, but don't!

i feel your pain about leaving your fishing trip at noon. ive been thru this too with a chic. it starts leaving at noon, then leaving at 1030, then in a month or so she will have u launching the boat solo, and coming in to pick pick her up for a quick hours fish. i think she might become a movie star soon and leave the fishing life behind. hey aqualung, you poor old sod...

Don't show up to Roland Martin's place with a bait casting reel on a spin cast rod. I was surprised you were casting as well as you were though. Lol!

Its all good BB hyper hook set them in the mouth with that reel and rod just to say it can be done. TC&GB!

Like the chest cam, gives a good first person view of what youre doing, and it lets you have both hands free. I like using the Abu Garcia revo series baitcasters!

I do not like the chest mount. Look aat it from your viewer's point - all the viewer sees is the reel and pole and arms. When you start fighting a big fish the viewer can't see much of anything of value. My vote is a sound No!

just wanted to clarify earlier comment i made. i was kidding darcizzle and in retrospect i may have hurt her feelings. i actually have highest respect for her and what a perfect fishing partner she is. wish mine could have been. also get a big kick out of darcizzles intensity and actually forming words that brian is saying on monologue part. too coool!!!

Wow nice Sailfish! Great job! I think it's was great you worked hard to revive and care for that caught fish, so many people mishandle them! Brian nice casting reel, but your using it on a spinning rod! Hahaha! Chest cam works well. Nice clip!

You will need to change the rod, you have the bait caster on a spinning real rod you need to get bait casting rod!  FYI

Brother you got Waaay to much line on that reel! Back it with some 15#mono first and then put a decent amount of braid over that. It'll cast much better. Love you guys videos by the way! Tight lines!
