Hmm there’s some voice lines I’ve never heard from trapping yourself, and I’ve been a portal fan since the first game came out, valve is truely one of the best game companies out there. When will we get portal 3 😢

in portal one test chamber 14 you can place a portal where you would normal use to get the cube and then one next to the platform and unsolftlock yourself

you can't actually trap yourself in chamber 14, as you can actually use the roof to build momentum and jump on that platform, or do a speedrun strat to get there (which is the same thing), neither in chamber 15

You cant trap yourself in chamber 14 there is a secret way just turn on developer commentry and then go to chamber 14

In portal 2 chapter 2 chanber 7 I somehow was able to get the stuck result without getting stuck with the cube with wheatly and whenever you dropped the new cube when she made a new one it would fizzle over and over softlocking

I randomly did it on 13 and I couldn't work out how I trapped myself whilst doing the least Portals challenge 😂

you can trap yourself in chamber 11. and chamber 14 can be solved without that cube :)

Where is test chamber 11???

in portal 1, chamber 4 they re-used an audio from very later on in the game when you break out, you can tell by the weird echoey and bad speaker-like way that glados said it in.

So they mislabeled it in the video, but I actually DID manage to trap myself in test chamber 4 just now. The trick is to keep the door open with the cameras, and then grab the cube and jam it in the door. :)

I think you can still get the cube on Portal 1 Test Chamber 14 and get to the exit even without completing any tasks at all.

I actually got stuck in portal 2 chapter 3 test chamber 15 on accident lol

I trapped myself in a chamber during my playthrough of portal 1 and i tried the konami code then the door opened because it supposed to when you trap yourself and i actually thought the code worked lmao.

No... this isn't every chamber you can lock yourself in.

How is that first one a trap? Cannot you stand on the switch to open the door?

You can trap yourself in the very first map too by leaning the cube against the door and getting it to slam onto the other side. Almost any level with a cube and a door.

It's interesting that Portal 2 actually has less test chamber softlock events than Portal 1, despite having several more test chambers included in it.

I (somehow) managed to softlock myself on the wrong side of the room at the start of Portal 2 Test Chamber 6 by attempting to go through the orange portal, popping back out immediately, and also triggering Wheatley's dialogue.

Can’t you also do it in Test Chamber 00? I know at the very least, The Stanley Parable has dialogue for this happening.

Actually there are more traps, for example you can trap yourself in the very first chamber in Portal 1. And Glados won't react at all.

I never complete level 13 completely.

Idk how, but when I was playing chapter 2, level 7, I collected wheatley and did the level, and then when I did the fling and made it to the end of the level but the trap dialogue played anyway even though I was up. Wheatley caused it.

You missed room 4. You put room 4 but cut to room 5.

You forgot literally the very first chamber

There are alot of chambers you can softlock inside of but the devs didn’t make a failsafe for them.

You can soft-lock yourself in Chamber 00 (or map testchmb_a_00) by getting the cube through the door.
