Please make school scary stories

My neighbor two houses down had someone living in his attic a few years ago. He began hearing noise at night coming from above and eventually checked out the attic. He found an old mattress and other evidence of someone living there. I don’t know if the person was found/arrested.

I should add, the attic had an outdoor staircase entry point, and his house is on wooded 5 acres. No telling how long it had been going on. The neighbor is a teacher and keeps a very regular schedule. Luckily for me, my schedule is very irregular and you couldn’t stand up in my attic! lol

The camera situation is something I checked everywhere we stayed. Cameras are so cheap and easy to hide. If the owners had come home, I would have gotten my belongings out of their house and called the police so they knew we weren't responsible. On a whole, I'm always shocked that people travel to remote places without carrying a gun. I don't go anywhere without mine, and if we're camping or staying in the woods, I carry a larger-caliber weapon. For bear and the like

The guy with the fake listing just did it for money, he wasn't doing it to watch you or to watch some story play out. Stupid

You holler at a cabin as soon as you’re within range (of a weapon), and continue as you advance. Very little good news arrives on foot in the woods. If you assume no one is home, you leave and holler all the way back to the road. If you’re in a bad way (dying) and need something, (gas, a shovel, etc.) again, announce your intentions loudly, repeatedly, and pay replacement price for anything you take that conditions would make returning it a possible threat to your wellbeing. Leave a note explaining what happened. Always assume you’re being watched. And be grateful. A letter afterward thanking them and confirming that they were adequately compensated is always a nice touch. I used to leave two gallon plastic gas cans and my oldest shovels in clear view, been a long time but at least five or six times I was able to help just with those items. Bottom line, if you ever leave mapped roads these are among the things you should have in your trunk, bear spray in the glove box. The younger generation are probably the best yet with driving skills, but movement to cities has resulted in far fewer of them being aware of the potential pitfalls of private, unpaved, poorly maintained roads. And, the learning curve is unpredictable 😂

First story. These stories end the same almost all the time. Get you all hyped up just to end with they just walked away. Ugh! Boring!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, on motorcycle, we were sun,burned,wind burned,looked like 2 raccoons . we were eating, when this family ,of 4 Came in sat at a table next to us ,mom and a dad 2 preteen agers,starred at us,kept staring at us,finally I looked at them and said what the hell are you looking at,never seen anyone sunburned before? Then they stoped ,and things were ok,but dang,just WTF..

I walked for 5 hours down a mountain, when I could have stopped and started a fire, possibly attract someone's attention....I was freezing to death.... in my fight or flight moment I still knew better...

Humans are what I was worried about. Just WHO id run into at 3 in the morning...
Instead, I walked 5 something hours and was rescued.

These are great weekend getaway horror stories! I feel bad for the victims in them. It sucks that some had to cut their trip short in one of them. If my escape from reality turned into a fight for my safety, I would call the owner of a cabin and get out of there.

I never go anywhere near the woods without being armed. I’m not going to be predator food or a crime victim. Why people don’t think to protect themselves is beyond me.

The second story, narrated by a man saying he and his boyfriend - I am SO SICK OF THE HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA BEING SHOVED AT US. I shut it off. Sick sick sick.

I liked the "cheers, Buddy!" response. I do that a lot or I stare back and start laughing. When they stare and don't respond, I start speaking a greeting in a different language, like Japanese or something.

Sorry yo say but cameras are becoming more commonplace in rentals, although illegal, it is too late after you have been taped in intimate moments. Check for cameras first.

It is sad but stories of hidden cameras in rental properties are getting more and more frequent and the laws sadly have not caught up to today’s tech. Some of these cameras are set to stream straight to the internet. Anytime you rent check the rooms carefully. The scariest part about it is they have your name and address. Air BnB’s sound like such fun ideas and most of them probably are run by decent people, but you never know which ones have psychopaths in the shadows.

Relative to the first story, my wife and I travel frequently with two other couples. All three of us guys are retired cops who carry. We stay in cabins in the woods when we can. A stalker will have a rude awakening if this ever happens to us. We won't call the police. We are the police, and it won't end well for stalkers with bad intent. Just sayin'.....

Yk Once I was in a similar situation! After that I always carry my trusty pair of .50 eagles n my beautiful 47 with me! Fully loaded n Ready to go! n I also keep four 6 inches n four 8 inches knives and two 22 inches machetes! Safety gear like shoes, gloves, 2 heavy duty search lights, 2 gas lighters, including a bp-vest and a fully equipped tool box are always with me!
That 1 time was enough! n it was only that one time! Never happened to me before that n never happened since then but I’m always prepared for anything now!
