AEW is not a hot product anymore ? It's not cold either, you can't put 11k people in an arena for a wrestling show if you're not hot to some degree

"you book the show" you cant rely on the crowd being into any and everything that you do. We've seen the years of judgement day, roman reigns, and baron corbin. You cant just "Book" a main event. Everyone has to put in for it

I think they thought if they did enough elbow strikes, they'd get a standing ovation.

I really liked that main event. All the shenanigans.
Don't think Darby should be champ if he's just going to ditch the company to go mountain climbing.

Everyone saying something else should've been the main event but those are the same ones who would complain about the title not being in the main event, don't get me twisted, I think that was probably the worst ending AEW has had, PPV or not but again, people/"fans" being what they are, it would've still been an issue.

That actress lady saying in front of the entire audience that wrestling in predetermined was one of the worst things I have ever seen on a wrestling show! Like wtf!

There were two simple solutions to fixing the match order, and one simple solution to fixing the main event.

Match order 1) Toni and Mariah main event for the women’s title

Match order 2) Osprey vs Fletcher is a lights out match which means it’s goes on last.

Main event 1) Way more energy exactly like Tempest said, but Christan takes them both out before they get to the ring and inserts himself in the match before it even starts

I don’t get why TK has the reputation he has as a booker. As far as the reports say TK taking over the booking had just before AEW’s last really good run. This year people are saying the shows have been better (other than the d.riders) and reports are TK took more control over booking again. But somehow when something goes wrong (like the main event) people immediately go to “TK needs to give to booking to someone else”, “TK doesn’t know what he is doing”, “someone needs to tell TK no”, etc. doesn’t add up

I made it a third of the way through this video bfore the constant bitching about the main event turned me off and I turned the video off. You guys complain about the negative discourse around AEW but you play your part in that and then some!

Ash Avildsen is the son of John Avildsen who made Rocky and Karate Kid.

The main event wasn't as bad as you feel, you're just down on the D-Riders and it was going to struggle to keep the crowd invested this far into the night after all the awesome that had just happened.
I viewed it as another one of AEWs strong points of having all kinds of wrestling, it was a very "work over body part" style match with lots of Sports Entertainment.

As someone who doesn't use X and only FaceBook and Instagram, I've only seen positivity about this show, including the main event.

i want the main title scene to be Swerve, Hangman, and Ricochet though i kinda wish they had switched swerve and hangman around since "Death riders" is such a wild west outlaw gang name, but now Swerve 100% needs to win

I think AEW is definitely heating up - fantastic shows recently. Twitter doesn't represent most people or opinions. Didn't love the main event but it felt like the crowd were tired - definitely should have been May vs Mariah, such a hot feud. Equally the cage match could have been unsanctioned and you "end" with that like they did with Swerve/Hangman.

Cope vs mox reminds me of triple h vs randy at wm 25 where the build up screamed hardcore.... But we got risk holds

Main event was a letdown but the show was an all-timer.

Hope is indeed the end of AEW forever because its so excruciating to see that company. Pls Lord!

Lost interest once Luke cited reading negative tweet after negative tweet about the main event ruining the entire show. If you can judge wrestling shows for doing dumb things, qr can judge your review show for citing the elon app thats a stain on the community

I was happy with the ending since Tony khan got rid of the stupid contact and is trying undo all the wrong with the world title scene by pushing Swerve, am sure he is winning the belt and then we move towards Swerve vs Hangman at All In Texas. AEW is on 🔥

I've been down on AEW these last few months because I knew they could do better. That PPV PROVED HOW DAMN GOOD THEY COULD BE. PERFECT. AND I LOVED EVERYTHING, EVEN THE MAIN EVENT

If christan won i would of been fine with the match being the main event because thats a big deal but mox just walking off champ still maintaining the status quo was just so mild and dull.

a Pre show , many great main events then the past show. the preshow was better then the past show though.

Luke, if you listen to twitter AEW should have been out of business 4 years ago. The critics would have complained about the world title match wherever they placed it on the card, with the added addition of something like "the title/Mox/Cope is so weak it couldn't even be the main event" if it wasn't the last match of the night.

This season on wrestle leuge has been so bass ackwards for me, normally I do great at the WWE ones and bad at AEW, but thinks to this event I now have 11 points which ain't a lot but I had -6

Although I knew the Storm-May match itself would be a better main event, I don't blame them for having Moxley-Cope in that spot. If not in the main event, then the end result (Moxley retaining) would have been a foregone conclusion.

Toni v Mariah would've been the perfect main event specially they're supporting the Queen of the Ring movie. It could've been a showcase, makes movies and pro wrestling meld with each other great for the eyes of investors and movie goers but no. Tony Khan is an idiot. make

The main event was not nearly as bad as you neck beards make it out to be. Would be a fime main event for any wwe show in the last 25 years. Was it what people wanted? No but that doesnt make it bad

The actress said 'you always know that you're going to win', which just sounded like a self belief thing. Everyone completely mistook it

They talk about people not being into the main event leading into this, but that's just not true. It was a good built with good reactions. I think Toni should have main evented too, but there's no need to weave a false narrative that people weren't into the main event.

I for the life of me can't believe how negative some people are being about this show. Is the main event dull? Yes. Was the rest of the show one of the best PPVs ever imo? Also yes.

I was there in person, I hope we were a good crowd. We got kinda gassed for the end so our Metalingus wasn't as good as Brisbane, but we'll take second place to Australia's LA
