You forgot to mention, chemical castration was used as a punishment for LGBTQ people... It's responsible for killing Alan Turing, essentially the inventor of the modern computer. To this day we're probably 20 years behind where we would have been in the field of computers if people weren't so prejudiced.

Euthanasia is different from assisted suicide. The latter is when the patient administers the method themselves, the former is when the method is administered by third parties. It is legal in some european countries.

ECT is still done.without consent in places like modern psych wards. Ive been in one inpatient for 3 months. I didn't undergo it personally, but some of the other kids were. Some were only 13. To make it worse, every poster board had a certificate for ECT, drugging, and restraints. It was awful there.
