As we practice this discipline we begin to exemplify Christs attributes to those around us. Our families notice, coworkers notice, perfect strangers notice… Most importantly Christ notices. His heart is blessed when we love Him enough to respond.

I prayed this verses ( 19-20 ) many days as I was a construction supt. To help me in different situations during the coarse of my career. God was always with me during these times. I give God the Glory!

If nothing good comes to mind to say, say nothing.. hard lesson learned.
Response not reaction is what you want

I was so guilty of this for so many years. It was lie now, sin now, be angry now and ask for forgiveness later. I have really tried to think before I speak, so i don't have to ask for forgiveness later.

This is one of those fundamental lessons. Quick to listen to slow to speak and slow to become angry. It applies to everything that we do. Even with our relationship with God. The primarily with our relationships with others. Brothers as we go into this New Year I hope that you have. Clarity and understanding. And I'm praying for all of you. Maybe not by name but.
