It’s sad to know that this generation will never appreciate just how good this movie was back then. All be it I was a kid when it came out I loved it then and I love it now 30 years later.

Old but gold. I watched this movie when I was 8 and no matter how many times I watched this movie. It's never getting born. The sound effects of Guyver's movements are amazing and I didn't see any modern movie reuse this sound effects.

A friend of mine had lent me a vhs tape of this movie in the 90s when I was a kid. I watched it with my mom!

The gregole zoanoid was probably the best one despite it screaming like a frightened cat lol

I think the zoanoid that got its neck broken was the same one that played lisker in the first movie

Took me years to find this movie

this and the movie before it are absolute garbage.

Having watched the train wreck of "The Guyver" I may have come in with low expectations, especially after hearing that this movie had a lower budget than the first. But I am personally blown away by this movie. The acting while still not great is way better David Hayder has a lot of good moments in this film and his chemistry with the leading lady is pretty good, the music is a vast improvement, the writing is leaps and bounds ahead of the first film the tonal issues of bouncing between Cronenberg's the fly and teenage mutant ninja turtles are absent, the action is brilliant, the editing is rough in the first half but gets way better towards the end and despite the lower budget this film feels and looks higher quality than the first film.

Overall Guyver Dark Hero is a pretty brilliant B-movie with some incredible action sequences that you can appreciate once they stop cutting away every two seconds. I find it really hard to comprehend that this is a sequel to the guyver this is an incredible improvement over just three years.

This movie was, and still is, balls-to-the-wall awesome. It got me into the anime and manga but this movie in particular was pure 90s gold. My highschool years were all the more awesome because of it. And surprisingly they did so much on such a small budget. That alone is impressive.

I loved the live action Guyver movies, they were like the Power Rangers on steroids!!!

I know I'm spamming comments, but I'm so damn happy that I'll see the new movie in my lifetime! 🔥💥



Why did they make the main character guy European but kept the girl Asian? They should either both have been made European or both Asian.

Let me paint you a picture:

It's 1995 (ish), I'm eight years old and got up from bed in the morning. Mom and dad were leaving to finish an errand but I do remember them renting a horror film to watch the night before. Mom says that I'm too young to watch, ofc, but dad just gestures at the vcr and whispers "play it". They leave, I push the play button. The film starts and I'm somewhat on the edge as I know it has monsters on the cover of the box, but I put on a brave face. The moment Guyver walks menacingly through the steam with the the amazing soundtrack is the moment all hairs on my head go up and I'm hooked until the end. Guess father's gambit was on point XD

We had Terminator, Robocop,Predator, Aliens and then Guyver movie was made. Unbelievable. Low budget movie but it has great performance. Congratulations to the creator's and the actors are amazing. Guyver is a special movie. Check Guyver bioboost armor anime series. Have fun buddies.
