I’ve NEVER danced in my life, but I want to audition for a play that includes dancing, so I’m trying my best. So far I’ve watched how to do the intro+first 8 count. It took a bit, but I’m feeling pretty good about it!!! I love how you break it down into actual beats, I haven’t seen that before- VERY helpful coming from a flute player. I can last 3 mins with no music. You went more than 10 mins before you used any! Music drives dance. It's the motor. A dance class with no music feels like a car that's had the engine removed. The good news is you already know the hard part - how to teach dance - and the fix here is very easy. Just add music and you will have an excellent dance tutorial.
