Thanks Mo and Hannah.
ОтветитьCompliments the Sram Rock Shox twist lock as the best against Fox, proceeds to cut to a action shot with a Fox dropper lever in clear view. Savage 😂
Great review! Keep them coming 🤙🏼
Never thought I'd see you in lycra, but you always have ridden bibs. I promise not to tell anyone.
ОтветитьHey Mo I love you guys and your videos, but can you please test some bikes that won't max out my credit card when I buy them . Thanks
ОтветитьLooking forward to see which one is the most comfortable and fast, most compliant. Is the one I would want. This one already sounds like its top of the class.
ОтветитьHigh quality review dude! Killing it
ОтветитьLoving the reviews and format. I wonder, however, if long/low/slack bikes would reign supreme on east coast XC trails that are generally much slower speed and twistier than West Coast or Rocky Mountain trails where so many bikes are reviewed. I have multiple XC/Downcountry bikes and the older ones (2011 Epic Comp, 2016 Niner RKT 9 RDO) handle these trails better than the slacker Downcountry bike I have. The taller bottom bracket allows pedaling over slow techy climbs and the 70 degree head tube angle allows for a quick line change to choose the smoothest line.
All these reviews online are on the same type of XC trails, but with the exception of places like Pisgah or Windrock, normal East coast style trails aren’t represented.
I’m excited to see if Mo and Hannah end up in Tennessee where future reviews can show East coast trails and differentiate from the rest of the industry.
I am happy that you addressed how the bike handles in tight twisty sections. That seems to be left out in so many reviews on other channels.
Bro out here looking like Tinker Juarez.
(yes I am that old)
Solid review on a beautiful bike
ОтветитьYeti brand ambassador is from Nepal 🇳🇵.
This bike is fire 🔥
Really need the epic and other bike with and without flight attendant for a fair comparison to the Yeti. Very few ppl are going to want to fork over $15k for a new bike.
ОтветитьI bought a new ASR about a month ago. Thanks for confirming that I bought the right bike :-). I'm looking to do long distance XC races like Silver Rush 50, Leadville 100 and 12/24 hour races with it.
ОтветитьASR or Exie?
ОтветитьWas really excited for this series, but then you mentioned the pricing and I had to keep myself from falling out of my chair lol. I'll watch with a grain of salt knowing I would be shooting for the more budget builds.
I appreciate the breakdown of all the components! Very thorough. If I had to give one critique that might help (I promise I'm no expert and don't believe for a second I could do a video of this quality) I would say to try to refrain from getting stuck on one phrase too much. For nearly every component you used the phrase "for ____ we actually have..."
Overall, great video! I've really been enjoying your content.
If you buy one of these bikes do you have to wear lycra?
ОтветитьLove this series of tests
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻🫵🏻
ОтветитьWhat shoes are you using?
ОтветитьSpecialized, Cervélo, Giant, Canondale and Orbea are all lighter than the Yeti ASR frame 💪
ОтветитьI like that you took these bikes down some not so XC trails!!
ОтветитьI already knew i wanted an asr. Now i feel like i actually need one. Thx Mo :-D
ОтветитьWhat wheelset is that? Control SL?
ОтветитьDamn I just got an ARC and really love it. Now I feel like I need one of these too. Great review!
ОтветитьThis is a sweet ride 🔥
ОтветитьPlease take a second to breathe, listening to your non stop flood of information is exhausting and not helpful 😅
ОтветитьPro Bike Supply team = winning
ОтветитьASR vs Blur?
ОтветитьIt's a very nice video and comparison between different models. I have a Scott Spark 2022, and I'm using an XL size (I'm 6.4). I was looking for an XC that is lighter and more capable on the climb but maintains the same stability in the downhill and fun of my current bike. In the test, Epic and ASR look very similar in geometry, but the winner looks to be ASR. The Epic 8 SW is crazy expensive, and I'm looking to compare Epic 8 Pro ($9k) vs. ASR ($8.6k), not cheap. Based on the test and experience of new buyers, I have a few questions about whether the frame is rigid and reactive enough, if the bike is a fast climber, if the 115mm of shock back is enough vs. the 120mm of specialized, if the bike has a balance between xc/marathon/daily trail ride. Other feedback or suggestions are welcome
ОтветитьI live out in West Texas and ride fairly flat trails. I’m trying to decide between the Supercaliber and the ASR (both with Flight Attendant). I know they are very different bikes. Can you or anyone provide any guidance? I’m worried the Trek will not have enough travel and the Yeti will have too much.
ОтветитьOrbea Oiz M Pro missing in this test
ОтветитьAs letour mentioned, most of the trails I ride include alot of 180 degree switchbacks both climbing and downhill. In your opinion, how will this bike handle on these single tracks compared to others? Thanks!
ОтветитьGeo is damn near identical to the intense sniper t from a few years back . Main difference is seat angle .
ОтветитьThe ASR is a good upgrade coming from a SB100. Stability at speed and traction are insane. A comfortable bike I gelled with very quickly.
