ОтветитьI have a no4 mk1 but some jackass sporterized it and painted it green! I've spent hours restoring it and unfortunately it'll lose value when I put another full length stock back on bc it won't be all original 😢. Very cool bolt action gun tho
ОтветитьBest rifle you can get really
ОтветитьNice refinish, sad you got scammed for almost $900
Ответитьbe careful that early ammunition isn't corrosive... you need to wash the barrel with boiling soapy water or it'll rust no matter how much you clean it after shooting that stuff
Ответить3/3 is still used by Indian police 😂😂
ОтветитьThe work horse of the British 🇬🇧 army for over 50 years, an absolute icon.

ОтветитьWhen l was about 15 years old (1965 'ish) that rifle was for sale in my local Army Surplus store in Ontario...for $15.00 no foolin' !
I wanted it so bad, but when l turned 17, l fell in love with a small Browning .32 cal. pistol. (About the same price with a box of ammo.)
Edit :- There was a Jungle Carbine for a few buck more, but l heard that they kicked like a mule, so l let that one getaway.
I got the same one. Mine is just Sporterized
Ответить$850 for that gun? Wow, what a rip off. I paid $125 for the same gun.

ОтветитьI had a 1943 MK4 Snipers Rifle with the same flip up sight. Made in Manchester UK. Wish I'd never sold it.
ОтветитьNicce, my grandfather has one that belonged to my great great grandfather that he used in the boer wars.
ОтветитьMy Dad got his No 4 Mk 1 way back in the 80's, and apparently he paid like $250 for it or something. Still slaps out to 500 yards lol. One of my favorite rifles still in the family.
