Will there be an iron dragonborn?
ОтветитьI can imagine an interesting conversation between an iron dragon and an adveturer wearing red dragon scale armor.
ОтветитьSo what I'm hearing is that Graughlothor works like a joined trill from star trek
ОтветитьNice! cabal stomp ost
Ответить4E: an affront to D&D on so very many levels...
ОтветитьDo they rust?
ОтветитьSo chromatic dragons are inherently evil, metallics are inherently good, Gems are inherently neutral, ferrous dragons are inherently lawful so what dragon types are inherently chaotic?
ОтветитьSo basically Gruaghlothor is an Avatar....thats pretty cool
ОтветитьThe simple reason they could require large amounts of iron for their reproductive cycle is that it might be a key component of their egg shells.
ОтветитьI love that I accidentally copied official lore in my homebrew world with the whole line of ruling with the Sovereigns and such
ОтветитьUnexpected hemochromatosis reference, I feel seen!
ОтветитьSoooo the history of the Primarchs from 40k is just discount ferrous dragon lore. Good to know.
ОтветитьThanks so much DD!
ОтветитьI know this is 6 months old but why do people wish to convert something that already works in 3e to 5e which is just a dumbed-down version of D&D. Playing with someone in 5e is to me like playing with someone that just wants to play it like a video game they dont want a challenge they just want to feel that win. That is not bad but then they have to go out in the RL and dont know how to deal with a loss or how to think in other ways for the win.
ОтветитьF**k Red Dragons, All my homies hate Red Dragons
-
Gruaghlothor
The thing that bugs me is that lorewise Gold Dragons are the strongest type of Dragons, not Iron Dragons, and that in actual times their breath weapon is just lightning.
ОтветитьLaws and Law/Order are not the same.
They have to follow certain inherent limitations of ordar/law, or they are not lawful bur awful(ly deluded)! 😂
The more this video plays the mosre I keep thinking, "So the ferrous dragons are basically the custodes from warhammer 40K".
ОтветитьI know it’s been a while, but the iron poisoning lair effect gave me an idea: you could use the same effect for a vampire iron dragon but reflavor it as induced anemia
ОтветитьI was actually allowed to play as a bronze dragon in one campaign, when we encountered an iron dragon my guy was basically the designated diplomat, things almost went badly until he mentioned we had beef with a blue dragon and suddenly we had some powerful temporary allies in exchange for a box of ship nails and a few acts that were technically hate crimes against a squad of dwarves that were jerks to us earlier
ОтветитьAha! Knew I heard Deep Rock Galactic soundtrack at the " plot hook " part😁 Rock&Stone to the bone!⛏️
Its a ridiculous travesty and waste that WotC threw away ( not exactly decanoified but iced ) most of the dragons you revigorated and made 5e( 5e24? ) compatible. " Too many dragons "Bloat my a$$ and be damned. They are ALL unique! And it is dungeons & DRAGONS😂
This video made me realize that most people either don't know what heavy metals are, or they care so little that I just cannot comprehent it.
ОтветитьAnd now, I feel like I might almost pay real money for you to do blocks for an Athasian Dragon King, or an Avangion, just to see how best to have a mighty creature who can use both arcane magic AND psionics, and how to make them feel different, so Borys has both, and not just "he casts powerful magic like a sorcerer".
So, in this setup, does a red dragon really have any hope of winning? I can't imagine their ego taking it well, but this seems like one spot where they can't really capitalize on the physical advantage, and I'm assuming the irons are immune to fire damage, but since their breath is dual-type, at least the lightning will still hurt the red. Lastly, most chromatics are solitary, so if the iron brings support, it just wins? I suppose I won't miss another red dragon, but it just feels odd THE monster of D&D legend would just get pwned.
How would dual-type breath weapons work in regard to resistances?
ОтветитьWhat if one of the old dragon types was even stronger then the Iron but was of small numbers, and was wiped out in the civil war? What if Groglathor can by extension merge with any Ferrus dragon and is miffed he isnt a "insert superiron here" anymore? Thatd be... fun? Ya ill go with fun.
EDIT: even more horrifying. What if there were two types stronger then Iron. But there was only a few or perhaps only ONE (Groglathor) of the strongest, and like the reds a swarm of the next strongest took him on, leading to him dying and making a promise of death on the the type that killed him after his more loyal Iron followers brought him back. It just so happens he suceeded in that goal. Bam now the two dead species of ferrus dragon are known!
The idea of a warlock of Groglothor is definitely an interesting one!
ОтветитьDungeon Dawg
ОтветитьImagine one of these dragons eggs having the same spell as in the inheritance cycle dragons enabling them to have a rider
Ответитьi want to know what all 12 are? Is Orium one of them?
ОтветитьSo Avatar TLA, and My Hero Acadamia (one for all) rules when it comes to the supreme dragon’s line of succession. I think it would be cool for a campaign if the Ferris Dragon empire was trapped in a pocket dimension, and dealing with their possible return could be a prominent plot point. Maybe starting off as a prophesy your players hear about, that suddenly gets proven to be far more than legend lore.
ОтветитьIron Dragons at the top of the caste system? Guess you could call it Caste Iron!
ОтветитьI could see a Dark Crystal themed campaign where the Ferris Dragons act as the Skeksis with the Iron Dragon being the Emperor.
Ответить🚇🚄😰🥴
ОтветитьI see the problem dad. The reason they are called that it's because they are the FAIREST dragons. Because they're lawful.
Ответитьand then the dragon meets african fire ants who eat it alive for being a prick (reference of ant and construction crew)
ОтветитьBROWNIES!!!! What ever happened to Brownies?
Ответитьholy crap Groglathor is the dragon avatar
ОтветитьWhat is an iron dragon´s favourite genre of music?
HEAVY METAAAAL
Iron Dragon: "Why should I care what you say, human?" Human: "I've killed two Red Dragons." Iron Dragon: "Oh, then say your piece."
ОтветитьOk I'm not a chemist
But I believe iron element has 2 isotope, one is called ferrous and the other is ferric
That's a weak alchemical excuse for 2 variants of iron dragons.
A memo from a player of Lawful Neutral characters.
Lawful don't mean nice don't forget, it just informs how and ehy someone does things.
If your players kill an iron dragon, it is entirely within the realm of possibilities that the dragon's clan sends a message saying "You will be destroyed on day X, time Y. Middling regards" and then proceed to deploy five dragons to destroy the group and only the group.
Now we need a dragon class that's always chaotic.
ОтветитьThe video you are using was from dark souls 1
ОтветитьIf an Iron Dragon and another Metallic Dragon interbreed is that an Alloy? Do the Alloyed dragons have allies? Are there Alloy Ally Allies?
ОтветитьDon’t think you’re slick with the Cabal theme
ОтветитьI would really like to see an iron dragon try to tell a prismatic or a force what to do
Ответить
