The Tigers are what all the wehrboos drool over, but in reality the Panzer III, Stug III, and Panzer IV were the backbone of the Wehrmacht.
Also, in my opinion, the III's and IV's are more aesthetically pleasing that the Tigers.
Tanks have something in common with fighter jets across the world. There is an absolute height/weight limit for crew members. I have known several fighter pilots. None have been beyond 6 foot 1 inch, weight had to be in proportion.

Ответитьwhen Inside the Chieftain's Hatch: Panzer IV??
Ответитьbetween General Fromm and General Beck they did everything they could to minimize the panzerwaffe as an arm of decision.....
ОтветитьThumbs up if you don't play video games but you just like tanks
and related history.
👍👍👍👍
Or they could just have adopted a sloped one piece glacis . Extended the edges of the hull slightly.. and had a one piece forward deck and 6 bolts to hold it in place... no more metal.. less hours to construct.. easier to maintain.. maybe 2 hours to sketch out and put into full production within 3 months
Ответитьtem legenda em português 😃
ОтветитьExcellent video. The music is beyond annoying
ОтветитьQuien fue el culpable de de hacer los subtitulos en español... 🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьThe wood lining could be for storing cloths of some sort (yes cloths, not clothes) as all good wardrobes have a cedar wood lining to repel insects
ОтветитьLindybiege was there
ОтветитьThose welds are sweet
ОтветитьI always liked the Panzer iii
Ответитьthat face when a pz3 has more gears that ur project car
ОтветитьHow well did the American Sherman stack up against the Panzer III
ОтветитьHow well did the Panzer III stack up against the British Matilda
ОтветитьWE ALL DANCE TO THE MUSIC
Ответить"If you can't tell if it's a Panzer 3 or 4, just count the road wheels and divide by two."
Or just count the return rollers.
These icons tanks deserve more love in the game, rather than focusing on paper designs :(

ОтветитьThe wooden lined bin on the track shield is clearly a humidor for cigars.
ОтветитьHow do you feel about Poland getting our new MBT before US tankers do.?
Ответитьplease please re-release the videos without the god awful music in the background. It's even worse that it's used on every video.
ОтветитьI'm thinking that the wood lined box held a 12v work lamp that had a roll of wire with clips that fastened to battery posts.
Ответитьthe wooden lining in the bin could be for reducing noise by tools rattling around metal on metal???That's ofcourse no expert answer, just a thought of me, since wooden toolboxes are much quieter to carry around than metal ones....
Ответить"The Versalls Treaty"? Really? It is Ver-sai, rhymes with "sigh".
ОтветитьHow to tell a III from a IV chassis? Easy, one has six road wheels pairs, one has seven. Where does dividing by two come into it? Is that supposed to be a joke?
ОтветитьYou would think a place like Bovington would have the resources to put a decent paint job on that M3 Medium, instead of that amateur fantasy job.
ОтветитьI've seen this at the Australian armoured artillery museum in smithfield and panzer 1to 4 and the panther tank
ОтветитьThe wood lining is to form a humidor for the victory cigars 😜
Ответить👍🎾
ОтветитьObviously the wood lined storage box is the tank’s humidor.
ОтветитьHey, would you mind doing this video again, only using American Standard units of measurement instead of metric? For those of us in the US, that do not use metric in our daily lives, it will save us a metric ton of time looking up the conversions. ( pun intended)
ОтветитьWhat a example for bad engineering. Instead of having the front of a highly complex from multiple parts welded staircase design, one sloped steel plate would be more easy, cheaper, faster, spacier and more armored.
ОтветитьSloped armor worth the effort? It’s more easy to produce. Less parts. Less welds. More space. Simpler Design.
ОтветитьTell me what you want the pz3 is the best looking ww2 german tank, it's low,it's wide , i love it
ОтветитьThis work horse was Rommels most common Panzer in North Africa
ОтветитьAnd easier way to tell the difference between panzer 3-4 is the return rollers. The panzer 3has 3 the panzer 4 has 4 simple. You can count the road wheels but it takes way longer.
ОтветитьOh cmon rivets work just fine, what's the worse that can happen, the crew becoming organic rivet storing bags?
ОтветитьWhat an awful way to change your transmission.
ОтветитьDid you say that the Versailles treaty was signed in a railway car?
You mean the Armistice when it was signed on 11.11.1918 I think at Compiegne, making the "repeat performance" in 1940 using the same car and same place even bitterer. The Versailles treaty was signed AT Versailles in the bloody big building that is known by that name (but which also had a story of franco german enmity due to the declaration of Wilhelm I. as German Emperor happening in the mirror hall at Versailles)
My favorite german tank, it sits on my desk, watching
ОтветитьI love the early German tanks panzer 1-3 just so classic
Ответить"You'd better hope that your transmission didn't break down all that much." Fateful words when talking about the transmission in a WW2 German tank.
