I feel the mother could have done more to protect her daughter, from her grandmother.
She left her daughter alone with a woman, even her own son couldn't stand and by all accounts is a nasty, vile woman.

I'm so greatfull that I had a great Mother-in Law, We used to go golfing lol and had so much fun. I miss her so much!
