Is there any downside to leaving the device on all the time like you did in the video? In other words without the switch?

Robert.. If you splice the power feed into a switched acc, the unit will shut off when you turn ignition key off. However since the box interupts radio staions, you wont have regular radio as long as the box is on. Since he is using a tablet as a head unit, I doubt he cares about local radio.

Do you get any static or buzzing with the modulator? I'm using a wireless FM transmitter right now and even though I'm on a "dead" channel I still get buzzing. Would I be better off with this in terms of buzzing?

Do NOT do the power switch delete as show in video unless you don't want to be able to use the radio function.

Don't remove the Positive Battery Cable. Remove the Negative battery cable.

Great video! Also liked how you added the Samsung tablet. Would like to do this on 2 of my vehicles. None of the car stereo shops in my area know how to do this. Do you have a video showing how you did that?

So it is ok to wire the FM modulator directly into the car radio?

The cigarette lighter model has a FM leak literally people in front or behind you in traffic can hear your conversations over that specific frequency usually people tend to put it in the uk at the beginning or the end of the fm band... That's my problem with the plugin one.. I literally hear 2-3 times a week someone's conversation over fm... It's scary

Is there any Noise Interference at all ?

If you're driving to different Cities, will you start to hear Interference?

Just installed this on 06 4runner SR5. I get sound output but their is wind sound in the background. Any suggestions?
