Babylons people were darker skinned than shown. If you do your studies, you'll would find they were decendants of Shem black or brown with curly AND straight hair. Babylon was one of the many cities that had libraries. Alexandria was not the first, they were called houses of mystery and invited many men of ideas to come and live in these houses of mystery , they only needed good ideas they didn't have to have several expensive degrees to prove they had lots of money, then, everyone had a place to live, and even the lowest of slaves lived better than hard-working people in the US. The political puppets and rich people have not advanced anything but themselves while destroying society. Actually, as it was, society has already been destroyed. Did you ever noticed they never found or dug up anything that looked like the huge jailhouse in every city today. There are no jails in the Bible, punishment was being sent far away from their loved ones, and staying there until the person wronged passed away. NOT ONE JAIL IN THESE ANCIENT SOCIETIES there was always a way to handle crime and in some cases even death even though I don't agree with that one. There was a good reason for that death in the desert, it was a crime against God not just adultry.
