I wanted to play Zombie-Dad, but not wanting to craft Card of Safe Returns and allergic to playing meta decks because I'm bad at the game and need an excuse to why I lose. I ended diddling with jank like Fire beatdown and Legendary Salmon. I had a lot of fun. The highlight was I played Yuki Jaden who was playing a Jaden charcter deck. I had a moment of observation haki after I Complused his BladeEdge. I watched them top deck a Wild Heart with Poly in hand. Made Wild Edge and wrecked my board. I enjoy lossing in yugioh when main character moments like that happen.

Been Playing A Zombie Synchro Deck With A Mill Focus. The Deck Works Without Milling, But The Feeling Of Synching Through 3 Doom Kaiser Dragons After Milling An Opponents Plaguespreader With Two Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower On Field Is Just *Chefs Kiss*. The Amount Of Times That Zones Has Been A Problem Surprised Me.

I played the Time Travel on MD today for the first time... and I got OTK'd by a single fusion monster, I was baffled

That plant player's hands were pretty much mine when I tried that loaner. Pollinosis is AT 2 in the list I'm pretty sure, but god I hope it carries me enough to draw into something playable

For this event I played stun/burn and lost 0 games. Just wanted to remind people that no matter how far back you go you can't escape how FAIR, FUN and INTERACTIVE this game can be 🥰

It’s amazing that they made one of their loaners a battle focused archetype, and then made one of the other loaners run Honest and Gorz. They’re just shamelessly picking favourites.

I was really surprised when I learned that Van'Dalgyon was printed so long ago. It totally looks like a modern pack filler card (aside from the fact that it doesn't have a hard once per turn).

I was kinda disappointed with this event. Only had a chance to play one day and like 95% of matches were against the lightsworn loaner deck and the other 5% was against the GB one. I didn't see a single opp playing a custom deck :(

My favourite part of this format was bottomless trap holing my opponents DAD, now he can't come back with the milk.

I was in 5/6th grade in ‘08

I played worm + Kaiser colloseum, control. The shallow grave + colloseum ensures I never get outnumbered. Rivalry and gozen to control the board, offerings of snake diety for defensive plays, evil dragon Anata and worm king and queen for offensive plays.

I played a very similar Zombie DAD list way back in '08. Just finished Uni, spent a large portion of my maintenance loan on Yu-Gi-Oh singles and lived on noodles. Great times.

I wish this was proper edison time travel format and not teleDAD, man teleDAD sucked the life out of the game for me, it was even the reason why Cimoooooooo stopped playing for a while

I struggled to remember which deck I was playing at this time. I just built a jank Silent Swordsman + Silent Magician Deck. I remembered that, in this era, spell cards were still the primary form of removal, so Swordsman Level 7 backed by traps was nigh unstoppable.

I personally ran Monarchs and I ran Hyenas,Nimble Momonga and Jinzo #7 with machine multiplication to add bodies and soul exchange because monarchs and that’s basically the whole thing

Cards of safe return in lightsworn led to me watching a man deck himself out because cooked too hard and left too many lightsworns on the field after swarming
