How can you say "nothing is set up" when there are stationary cameras and you can tell that a camera person is walking around the bar while Taffer is watching from his vehicle? Do these bars just normally have camera people walking around their bars? Probably not a good idea to swear on your mother's grave when you're lying.
ОтветитьAnd this is why Jon Taffer rocks!
ОтветитьCocaine is subconsciously playing somehow and I’m concerned
ОтветитьHe came to my town in framingham when I was a kid. It’s real .
Ответитьi simply do not believe this in the slightest, lol, and i love this show
ОтветитьI believe Jon but I also can almost state emphatically that the producers of the show give the participants direction on what they would like them to do to make the show more enjoyable....I don't even think its debatable....I believe that Jon doesn't know but there are times during recon that I know damn well the producers get the people to do stupid shit...
ОтветитьFake ars scripted show. You are gullible if you take it seriously. So are the people holding the cameras invisible?
ОтветитьSee I told you this man Jon taffer the real Batman or should be the Batman
Ответитьdude is a boss 247
ОтветитьI went to Moon Runners and asked em about it. Its not scripted.
ОтветитьI worked for the owners of the infamous “Piratz” pirate themed bar at their short lived follow up attempt in the bar/restaurant business when they moved down to Florida. If you asked them, the producers picked and chose angles to highlight with a focus on creating drama and tension among the staff and Taffer. I’m sure that’s true on some level, but I can also say in having worked for/with them for a good few months, it’s not at all hard to believe that at least a majority of their insanity was 100% genuine, albeit likely played up or the cameras.
That said, personalities aside their bar down here was actually kind of a cool place. Well designed and they had a decent menu built around bar staples, most with their or slight twist that gave it some character, and a few signature dishes that legitimately kept a small but cool group of regulars coming back most weekends. The real thing that killed them was the location, it’s a wildly rough spot, while technically right directly off the downtown area, it’s tucked up in this dark, shadowy, almost shady little side street of a side street. I mean I literally think it was unlit around most of the roads leading their that connected to the downtown strip, it was not at all inviting or welcoming to your natural inclinations as you bar hop downtown. Very limited parking, but that’s typical. There was a decent view of the water, but that was not enough.
He is good at what he do except names sometimes he come with the worst names for bars i have ever seen
Ответитьthis is awsome
ОтветитьThey absolutely give people lines and play out certain scenes, I’ve had friends that have been on this show. If you’ve been in the industry long enough you’ll know someone who’s been on the show. Also it’s reality tv guys like come on. Same energy as wrestling is real, patty mayo is real, pawn stars etc.
ОтветитьBeen watching since 2019! Always funny and heartbreaking.
ОтветитьJon Taffer is a legend
ОтветитьI believe him… the way he explained it made perfect sense immediately.
ОтветитьI mean some people have to be able to say they were eating or drinking there when he came in and all that
ОтветитьI love how some of the Bar owners don't like when Jon yells at them! Come on! Their bar is failing! They need someone to come and put them in their place! Jon is loud and aggressive but what these owners need to change!
ОтветитьWell I believe this guy he's not going to throw his mother and family under the bus just to hide a script that one makes sense
Ответить... How did he sneak all those cameras into the bar for his big surprise? Are folk like "oh!! Jon Taffer!! You know, i THOUGHT there were a lot of cameramen in here tonight, well that explains it!"
ОтветитьOne of the bars was on the show its about 2 minutes from my house. All the workers said they are definitely told to say or act certain ways at times. However jn wasnt apart of that episode. The owner was however in crazy debt and the bar was a mess
ОтветитьWhy no health inspectors stepped in for public safely? Thanks Jon
ОтветитьHis poor mother
Ответитьdude just doomed his mother and daughter lol. its 100% scripted
ОтветитьI still have a hard time believing alot of the scenes of the recon where there are clearly a camera crew in the bar and then John walks in and they're surprised.
ОтветитьGotta love Mr. Taffer... genius man, entertaining and hell of a business man
ОтветитьI wonder what John Taffer thinks about the movie Cocktails
ОтветитьJon Taffer is not a fraud. He teaches about presentation, safety & cleanliness around food and great customer service. He may be over the top with his attitude at times, but he's a fair bar, drill sergeant. He needs to slightly tone it down with the attitude, so he won't add fuel to the fire and save him from potential stress.
ОтветитьHe gets 51% of the bar then the people sell out and leave. He dumps the bar because it's not about the bar it's about the TV show and he makes millions from the show. The bars are a write off.
ОтветитьIt’s scripted. I was on it 🙃
ОтветитьJon has a noticeably better record than Gordon.
ОтветитьWell one of the episodes the bar owners are ‘customers’ in another episode. So taffer is lying
ОтветитьBS. I have a good friend who's bar was on BR and at one point they hid the glasses to make one of the owners fail.
ОтветитьPretty impressive to be able to come up with a design concept, order furnishings and signage, then install it all in a matter of a couple days. Or, he’s lying
ОтветитьI truly truly believe it’s not scripted maybe edited ofc and they play shit up but it’s genuine, you CANNOT make up certain things and I mean you CANT ex. Mushrooms on walls
ОтветитьAnd yet no one slapped da shit outta him?
ОтветитьIn local news, a grandmother and her granddaughter were killed in a fatal car accident.
ОтветитьI don’t believe him. The camera is always in the way, or in the kitchen, if it was a hidden camera you’d see the patrons and staff look directly at the camera guy or at least acknowledge him as they pass him but they never look at the camera or acknowledge the camera guy. Then they edit lines into the CCTV footage to make it clear they’re using CCTV footage to differentiate the camera guy on the floor from the CCTV footage lol.
ОтветитьJon Taffer just lied to everyones face
ОтветитьWell those cameras be very sketchy 😂😂 some episodes i be like come on...especially when he put a hat on to do reacon at the bar and the woman didnt know him😂😂
ОтветитьGeez, 4 days!!!! I never realized it was that short i thought it was a minimum of a week 😮😮😮
ОтветитьHe is SO FULL OF SHIT! .. I Lived in Tampa {18} yrs .. and He Did {3} Rescues That I Knew of! Local News Tv Told Us - Show Up at So and So Time to be on the Episode - BULLSHIT! .. Just Like The Price Is Right - Producers Walked Up & Down the Crowd AND HAND PICKED THE PEEPS .. The Final Reveals - BULLSHIT! If He Didn’t Like the Reactions - REDONE (3} or (4) TIMES .. and As You Know, It’s as FAKE AS KITCHEN NIGHTMARE and MASTERCHEF - TOTALLY SCRIPTED FROM BEGINNING TO END
ОтветитьEveryone now fact checking if Taffer has a mom and a daughter 😂
But I definitely believe him. The editors then make the show spicy and make it all come together.
he came to my town and a city over from us lmao
ОтветитьJohns like believe me I wish it was fake.
ОтветитьThe ultimate troubleshooter the master Mr Taffer
ОтветитьHow do the cameras get put in?
ОтветитьAnyone that thinks it’s fake, has never acted in front of a camera.
ОтветитьI’ve actually been on bar rescue and saw the whole process (Ann Arbor, MI episode). He’s not lying that it isn’t scripted, but he certainly has a bag of tricks up his sleeve to make good TV.
He’s a smart guy. Genuinely nice too.
But I will say, the renovations are clearly super rushed and very surface level. Easy to hide imperfections on tv.
