Is this monitor good for playing fast games (Battlefield 4, etc.)?
Ответитьis this flicker free and blue light filter on it
ОтветитьNot a bad video but how do you rate a 1440p monitor without doing a screen record? Capturing with with a crappy smart phone recording? Lame!
ОтветитьI'm debating if I should buy it for $190
ОтветитьAHVA is IPS....
Ответитьis this nonitor suitable for ps4? really like this monitor!
Ответитьis it a very noticeable difference between this and 1440p?
Ответить+Melkiah34 Thanks for posting this Melkiah34. Are you able to connect a newer set top box or other media player device to this TV and have it play protected content? Acer's website says that they are not HDCP compliant. I am wanting to use this TV with either an Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick and I don't want to get the ludicrous blue screen message of "hdcp content unauthorised" that prevents me from watching my legitimate content. This would occur on other newer media devices as well (when playing a dvd, blue-ray, hulu, or netflix). I haven't bought this TV yet and wanted to verify in advance.
ОтветитьThe monitor is IPS dummy
Ответитьis this decent enough as a gaming monitor? I really don't want to buy a $700 1440p monitor
Ответитьyo what card are you running? SLI?
ОтветитьIs it a gaming pc? Please answer
ОтветитьCould you use the HDMI to connect it to a SKY+HD box? If so how many htz could you watch 1080i at?
ОтветитьHey Melkiah34 , sorry for bothering you. I plan buying this monitor soon, and from what I have read on the Internet the opinions are split: some say that it has visible ghosting effect, some say that it hasn't. Whose side are you?
Also, after almost one year from making this video, would you still recommend the monitor? Has it dissapointed you in some way? Is backlight bleeding a real problem?
Thank you.
Will this work with a ps4
ОтветитьThis monitor is good for gaming?
Ответитьwhat happens when you connect your ps4 up to it?
ОтветитьJust got this monitor connected, and was going to ask you about any calibration tips, but instead searched some of these 4 K videos. Holy Crap the image quality on this monitor is very good! The smaller text will take some getting use too.
ОтветитьFuture owner reporting in. I'll probably shit bricks when I see this in action, having used to 1366 x 768 laptop shit tier monitor aka lenovo y570.
Ответитьis it glossy or matte(anti glare)?
ОтветитьUsing a PS4 gamepad in Titanfall? HERETIC!!!! LOL. I'm thinking on buying that screen, but that bleeding kinda scares me...
ОтветитьNewegg lists this as an IPS panel
ОтветитьHey man, have you tried overclocking the monitor? I would like to see how far it goes as to refresh rate.
ОтветитьI like the look aesthetically but showing us what a game looks like is pointless unless we're all watching it in 1440p. The video you uploaded is in 1080p
ОтветитьAHVA is WAY better than IPS! mostly on depth of black.
Ответитьthis is better - ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch WQHD
Ответитьis the backlight bleeding only visible when the screen is completely dark?
Ответитьhate blacklight bleeding :(
ОтветитьDo u think this is a good gaming monitor... I have a r9 290x and I plan to still have 60 fps at 1440p so I'm making sure this is a fine monitor
ОтветитьJust to inform you (not being a snob just not sure if you know this or not), but AHVA is a type of IPS panel rather than a VA panel, it's somewhat confusing considering the name. I am actually considering grabbing this for my PC for gaming and website work!
ОтветитьIs the backlight bleed that bad or is acceptable once you start playing games
ОтветитьI like your review style, straight talk. Very cool monitor! I want one!
