IE --8,7. 10,9 10,9 10,9 8 ,7 THEN E CHORD ? and many other variations ? Thats a huge amount to learn --surely there must be a scale PATTERN --that is easier to memorise ??

at 11 : 02. you are playing a rather strange scale solo (SHOWN BEHIND YOUR RIGHT SHOULDER ). ! Do we have to memorise all these weird odd notes --by heart ? IS there no convenient scale that put these notes in some kind of PTTERN we can learn ?

your first scale is also A natural minor, aka, A aeolian. Which are the same notes as the C major scale. Might be helpful to those that already know the C major scale. Same notes as E phrigian as you said. As with all modes the tonal center shifts from the major scale root.

I’ve been trying to get started playing this style of guitar and I just found this video. I I’ve been dabbling around with Harmonic major scales trying to get it to work as well Should I be using the harmonic minor instead even though the songs I’m trying to use this sound for are major keys?

I had a black female Chow years back. Anytime I grabbed my acoustic guitar, she would bounce in her pen to come out. I'd let her out and shed stay by my feet while I played guitar. The ONLY dog I ever had that loved the guitar. Miss her now.
