So instead of strengthening the supports of the bridge as required, all the government cared about was Israel.

Basically
Infrastructure didn't learn from the sunshine skyway bridge collapse and this was the consequences.

Jesus Follower! Meditate on the Book of Matthew chapter 6...Praise God! Blessed to be God's Blessing! Gifted to be His gift! Blessings on Blessings...in Jesus mighty name... AAAmen! Breathe in God's Word...Book of Romans 12...I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a loving sacrifice holy acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service.

I’m just wondering why in this video no one said anything about the black smoke coming from the top of the Dolly ship is the black smoke coming from generators or is that coming from the engine because it was said in the video that the engines never regained power
Was also wondering if the Rutter was then stuck in a position where it was causing it to turn to starboard if the ship was supposed to be heading straight under the bridge why would the ship look like it was turning to starboard almost intentionally

Almost a year later and nothing has been done to relieve the terrible traffic all over for the people of Baltimore. They cleared the shipping channel faster than my commute to work. Just kidding. Great documentary!

The lie that they didn't know if this bridge was impacted it would completely collapse is outrageous. They have evidence that they were warned as far back as 2006. They are covering up for Wes Moore's ignorance. He had people working on the bridge so he had to have a recent bridge assessment completed. He should have read previous bridge assessments. This means HE let this happen! Lies work, huh!

I still say this was deliberate.
How does ANY competent ship captain KEEP GOING FORWARD after a total power loss?
He should have IMMEDIATELY called for help and done his best to turn the ship around,
or at the very least reverse the engines to try to come to a stop, then as a last resort drop
anchor to try to stop the ship so it didn't collide with the bridge.
Then the parent company of the ship AND their insurance company are refusing to pay
for the damages and adequately compensate the workers families that their ship captain murdered.

The NTSB has found out that the owners of the Dali had wiring repairs performed in China a month before this accident. So the owners will be responsible for the bridge replacement costs. It will take time for the case to wind it’s way through the court battle and in the meantime, our government will be assuming the cost, to get everything rebuilt as quickly as possible. There will probably be some type of punishment metted out to the Captain as he was aware of the problems before leaving the dock.

One must ask as to why: 1) when faced w/ ongoing power and control outages, did the captain decide to go ahead w/ his attempts to depart the port, knowing full well that when occurring a lost of power, the vessel is literally uncontrollable….
2) surely the bridge authority had an on-going risk management program in their operational framework? In a business environment, the equivalent risk mgmt pgm would likely be guided by the industry best practices and required and audited by their liability insurance providers, as to what is required in order to maintain said coverages…

Totally random and kinda irrelevant but I had a dream a couple days ago. I got into an uber and they drove on the wrong side of the bridge and drove right off into the local river I live by. It felt so real falling and finally splashing into the current of the river. I then woke up.

they kept saying "we just can't imagine the destruction that happened.' Yes, sir, you can... And people did... and you used those workers' blood to write your maritime laws. I'm 15 min in and the first thing i "Imagined" was what would have happened if this had happened at peak traffic time for the bridge. whose blood would have been used then...

I will never forget the workers that I saw on that night. I was on the bridge an hour before the collapse. The potholes weren’t even as bad as the ones on the roads leading to the bridge. Truly tragic they lost their lives. There was not enough coverage on the lives lost in my opinion.

Such a beautiful bridge and it is so sad to see it gone. I never understood the impact a bridge can have on everyone!!

People had to move because work got to far away, traffic increased greatly

The key bridge is historically but we should name are new bridge of the lives lost
