I think the reason you could enter doors is that you hit the ground at the same frame as the input. Directional moves can’t be activated on the exact frame you hit the ground, causing the up input to be used on it’s own.

It could have been so easy at so many points to throw your hands in the air and say "screw it, it's actually impossible" then do what everyone else does and turn challenge into "least joystick moves" but you didn't. And I'm so amazed by that
