Experts: San Antonio’s Finesilver Curve tricky to navigate, fix

I have never had a problem with curve.

No it’s just these people don’t respect the speed limit sign . no matter how many flashing lights they add. They speed past 25 MPH and veer into your lane cuz they can’t hold the curve.

It's not that it's hard to navigate it's just that idiots go too fast around it. Physics doesn't make exceptions for you.

To be realistic, all of texas is hard to navigate through. Theres hardly any reflectors on the roads, the dashed lines are fading away, hardly any lights place around the highway. Theyve got active railroad tracks that have the safety guards but somehow dont work nor do the warning lights.

Its been proven that driving is much easier when the driver in paying attention to the task of driving. Warning signs do not appear on the Twitter app.

Fixing this problem is rather easy. Just remove the guard rails.

ive been using that turn for years never has anyone gone 25mph unless they are experiencing a flat tire or the vehicle engine dies while driving...other then that 40mph is the slowest ive seen

It’s due to speeding, not the curve.

Place a few officers there to ticket everyone 600$ or more if they don't follow the 25 speed ...being that a funeral is more expensive .some were around 10,000

Dude I drove trucks and San Antonio has a good highway system up in the east coast those curves are deadly. If it say 25 be safe drop it down to 15

Never had an issue with the curve, driving rigs, trucks, cars, and a bike.

Try slowing down

us older San Antonians know WHY that's the case. But every 3 yrs you have some report on Tv trying to push you corrupt narrative. The Curve was never in COMPLIANCE to begin with, the engineers and the city knew that when it was being built. The curve is "Illegal" and not built to national and state "Standards." But the envelopes were pushed, money was passed under the table, many were told and asked to "Close and eye." But as you can see now, the reality is different. And naturally with the Trucking industry and lobby breathing down your neck YOUR Cops are not ticketing these truckers/18 Wheelers like they are supposed to.

I remember taking that curve going 25. Then a large truck behind honk and almost hit me from behind i had to speed to 40 to prevent that accident. Everyone needs to see that curve as a giant hazard zone. Yeah not allot of people wreck there. But its dangerous

Never an issue....maybe its all the californians....

I've taken that curve hundreds of times in a tractor trailer, loaded and unloaded and I've never had a problem because I follow the posted speed limit.
