I don't remember if you've done one already, but I'd like to see you try a comparison test between the Federal Tru-Ball Deep Penetrator slug, and the Brenekke  Classic Magnum slugs. I would like to see the comparison in penetration between the two..Since theyre both my favorite slugs, I have done testing of my own using Pine boards, and wet phone books, and the penetration seemed  comparable, but im curious to see what the outcome would be with different test materials.

These Winchester super X slugs are the best slugs you can buy for the money. The energy transfer from them is absolutely massive and the slugs always break apart, leaving multiple wound channels. The 8 inch penetration is VERY misleading in terms of performance, besides the less penetration, the more "stopping power" the projectile has. Also, they are impressively accurate for smooth bore slugs. I've made multiple 2 inch, 3 shot groups from 50 yards off a lead sled with an 18.5 inch barrel.

Thought you could melt the gel down in a pot and remold it? No need to throw it away.

Federal power shocks are pretty good too should test those out and in 20 gauge if possible

Even if it didn't penetrate that much the energy transfer would be enough to turn your insides into goo. If it hit bone it would break into pieces. Absolutely nasty.

Havent seen the results yet but i know its gonna be nasty. Theres a reason these are large game rounds. Anything else is paste.

I recently bought my first shotgun (Benelli Nova 18"). Due to limited supply at the time, I only have on hand bird shot, Winchester Super X 00 buck, 1oz slugs and Federal 000 buck.

I live in Colorado with about a 50 yard driveway & the nearest neighbor 75 + yards. I figured 00 buck for a unauthorized human in my home, 000 buck or slugs for bear. The slugs to reach the end of the property. Thoughts? Anything else I might find I need? Should I look at a dedicated SD/HD shell?

This video was a long time ago. But what shotgun and round would you recommend for home defense. Considering keeping your children safe. And something that won’t go through a intruder. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a shotgun I guess.
