ОтветитьWhen you are bald and desperately looking for hair to rub together, my dog knows something is up, so he takes off. Thanks for the video; it really helped before testing, clinicals, & ride-alongs.
Ответить🎉😊
ОтветитьAs an EMT this video is very helpful, thank you!
ОтветитьDo fine crackles clear with cough?
ОтветитьNo, fine crackles, also known as rales, usually cannot be cleared with a cough because they are caused by fluid in the small airways of the lungs, and coughing often only dislodges mucus in larger airways; therefore, fine crackles often persist even after coughing and may require treatment addressing the underlying cause of fluid buildup in the lungs. Coarse crackles can be caused by secretions (pneumonia) or fluids (pulmonary edema). After coughing or a few deep breaths, crackles may clear.

Crackles - sounds like drinking very shallow water in a cup using a straw
Rhonchi- like water flowing through a pipe
Stridor- like blowing a broken trumpet
Wheeze- like whistling or owl at night and best hard on expiration
Pleural rub - like dragging a table on a hard floor
Hope this helps🤷♂️
