Why are there no strongholds?

SB: I need string.
Lures a strider and kills it
SB (again): forgets to get sticks then realises that the nether is built for idiots like me.
Gets a warped fungus on a stick. Then lures another strider. The strider saw the murder and sets SB on fire.
