is that Mr. Fabulous?
ОтветитьVery good live performance, but David Clayton-Thomas can't be bettered.
ОтветитьLooks like Billy Preston there
ОтветитьAlton Ellis Reggae version brought me here….
ОтветитьWrong singer.
ОтветитьLou Marini on horns
ОтветитьThank you Jerry Fisher WOW !
ОтветитьTears..... I chose the original for the backing of the photo display at my beloved of 51 years funeral 3 years ago. I miss him :(
ОтветитьOne of the all-time GREAT songs.
ОтветитьGod!! This music is SOOO DAMNED GOOD that I hate even turning on the radio any longer-- and I've had that sentiment for the past 30-35 years! When you've grown up listening to bands, REAL BANDS with REAL MUSICIANS-- R&B or Rock-- and EVERYONE in the band played an instrument, and/or typically wrote/arranged their own music ... NO PHONY STAGE EFFECTS, etc, is there anything really even compares to that era? Thanks for this :)
ОтветитьI think this is Luther Kent on vocals????
ОтветитьTanto años buscando en mimente esta rola y al fin gracias Musikladen youve made me so very happy
ОтветитьGreat music. Terrible camera work, so artsy fartsy can't tell what the musicians are doing on their instruments.
ОтветитьCurto esta Grande Banda desde os anos 70, sou fã!
ОтветитьGreat times
ОтветитьThere wont be music like this never again🥺
ОтветитьDang this video is where everyone had long hair 🤣
ОтветитьAlton Ellis’ reggae version brought me here. One love from Jamaica.
ОтветитьWhere is David Thomas?
ОтветитьLove a horn band.
ОтветитьCan I get a personnel listing anyone?
ОтветитьAnother CLASSIC that takes me back many years. Once again, thank you
ОтветитьYou've got that right my friend. After Vietnam I resumed my career as a professional drummer a crossed paths with b S AND T a couple times. That's Jerry Fisher on vocals. He had some big shoes to fill replacing D C T.I aways thought he did credible job. D C T flopped as a solo. He's out there today with a new BS AND T. AT 8O and sounds great.
ОтветитьBetter players than Chicago were.
ОтветитьGroovy
ОтветитьThis should never be done without the Hammond B3 and Leslie - sorry guys.
ОтветитьReal music
ОтветитьTom Bones Malone played trombone for them once.
ОтветитьThis, was the AM Gold that made the 70s the 70s.
Hearing this takes me back to those times, both good and bad, yet still happy because the promise of the future was always a bright one.
Oh how naïve we are as children.
Oh NO!
Where is David??!
I'm black, female, 73-y-o and this song has ALWAYS been one of my most favorite JAMS (I am and will ALWAYS be a DIEHARD 70s baby, baby)! The arts knows no color - be it religion, food, music, etc. I've always enjoyed good music, conversation, culinary delights, any form of artistic endeavors and delights...as me paw always stressed, stay away from ignorant people - I've always enjoyed BS&T from the get-go, as WELL as muh R&B, contemporary & classic jazz, classical, Prog Rock, Electronica, Reggae, Ska, Gospel and the like. It's true; variety IS the spice of life. Nice to see (and hear) that BS&T is still out there. play On!!!
Ответить💎
ОтветитьNot bad but no one sings this better than David Clayton Thomas.
ОтветитьDefinitivamente esa canción pertenece a David Clinton Thomas.
ОтветитьI liked the sound of the hammond blending with the horns on the original recording more than the rhodes in this version
ОтветитьIs that Billy Preston playing organ? Such a great tune, one of the best of the early 70's.
ОтветитьQué buena música....!!
