To be honest I like this old very 2D looking version more than new one. It looks way more unique.
Don't get me wrong, new one still looks very nice and unique it's just this version gives me some weird warm charming vibes.

my suggestion is to make it like 3rd person view option when trying to use sword and shield that has UI enabled. This way it adds the feeling of fluidity. I know it sounds stupid and hard to implement but hey it's just suggestion.

How about adding spell casting magic? aim enabled like the arrow? multiple spells like targeting lock if enemies get highlights they get homing missile and channelling ground targeting fireball with explosion might aswell add flying goblin if they get hit by explosion? 😂
