Maybe because Pride and prejudice the BBC series gets repeated so much in the UK that's why the fashion from bridgerton seems so normal or u become desensitised to the beauty. Thank you for reminding me ❤
Beautiful and elaborate features", polite way of saying breasts. Those features are on quite the display as they would have been in the Regency Era.
I absolutely LOVED Penelope's season 3 dresses, especially the dark green one she wears to the one ball, it was so pretty
Ответитьyou just spoiled who is Lady Whistledown… thanks but no thanks..😐👎
Ellen Mirojnick chose the best words to describe the Bridgerton family's dresses. Powders and whispers...aaahhh. 😊
I was expecting some explanation about Cressida's dresses, which are always the most extravagant
Ответитьyellow is not boring
I just love Bridgerton. But let’s be real… it isn’t known for its historical accuracy. The best part of the show in that regard, is the sets and locations, props and decor. They take a lot of liberties with clothing and accessories. And even more liberties with speech and manners. But it is a well done romantic drama SET in a loose time period and with a cast and events loosely based on historical events.
Ay el nulo sonido del microfono
That sucks that the actors are allowed to take at least one of the ballgowns home with them, that’s usually one of the perks I would assume.
I love all the dresses ❤❤
It seems ironic in today's society, new money flaunts, and old money is quiet. Quiet luxury vs. Louis Vuitton, Channel, etc.
Ответитьhow can someone make a video like this and never notice the indian influence in kate’s dresses…
All I know is that Cressida's dresses are always so ugly to me. However, I love Lady Featherington's dresses.
Old money whispers, new money shouts.
When was Bridgerton ever known for historical accuracy?
Ответитьkeren daaaah
I'm surprised you didn't recognize the other meanings of Kate's intense medium jewel tone dresses. The Sharmas come from Bombay, where Lady Mary fled with her new husband and young stepdaughter after her parents' brutal rejection, and accentuate that cultural background, translated into the social world of Queen Charlotte's London. Just like the Indian cosmetics and unguents shown during the Sharmas' pre-wedding traditions, the gorgeous turquoise, violet, and teal colours imply their sourcing in the dyes current in India, and announce their pride in who they really are with colors nobody else wore, or could have worn so well. Kate's gowns are never loud or grating like the Featheringtons', but rather elegant and striking in their unusual medium saturation and hue. The visual message is the gorgeous colors of the eastern subcontinent-- with all its varied royalties-- imported to the cut of English fashion and setting off the glowing loveliness of Kate's skin.
Love love love the dresses, and Queen Charlotte's wigs are absolutely amazing....I always look forward to see what wig she has on!!
I always love Pen wearing those yellow dresses.. it is bold and fierce. It looked nice on her
I personally prefer Kate and her mom and sisters dress they are such pretty colors and well cut for thier body’s very flattering! I
I never read the books, but I'm OBSESSED with the show. Based on watching the characters play out and their on-screen chemistries, i REALLY REALLY wish Eloise and Cressida were lesbians & in love with each other. Cressida doesn't seem to get on with anyone but Eloise, and Eloise seems sooooo uninterested in men.
Why would the dresses be accurate to the era when the entire show inaccurate? Bridgerton is a Regency Era set in an alternate universe, a Bridgerton "What If," like Star Trek. Nothing has to be the same, it is a whole other world, they can make it as they like. And I'm pretty sure it is this way on purpose.
It's gorgeous costuming but it ain't Regency. The dresses remind me of late 1960s prom gowns.
El audio con la imagen está desfasado
ОтветитьÉ dá saudade de Mr. DARCY!
❤
No wonder it has taken them so long to make the seasons
I feel so dumb for just now realizing that all of the Bridgerton kids are named in alphabetical order lol
Anyone else feel Ellen look like Dolly Partons long lost sister....🙃🤭😀
Lady Danbury, The Queen, Penelope and Daphne are the best dressed here 🤩. Otherwise there's CRESSIDA, as a Vanity Fair model with your trinkets. 😂
I can't imagen being a clothing maker back in the 1800's well today we call them Fashion Designer's
Season 3 outfits were wonderful, with contrasting light and dark colors, beautiful and deep at the end of the season.
What do they do with these costume afterwards than
Okay. Now I'm going to have to read the series all over again 😊
This video seems to be cut short midsentence. The intonation at the end was going up so there's definitely a conclusion that we don't get to hear
Now I seee why there is such a long time between seasons. Wow that’s amazing!
The costumes are incredible, but I can’t help wondering how anyone managed to walk around with those enormous wigs. Their necks must have been so painful by the end of the day.
Penelope always fit better into the Bridgerton family than her own. She was the only Featherington with class.
Purple is a mourning color in Regency England, so Lady Danbury wearing purple immediately after her husband’s death doesn’t necessarily signify her joy. It could just be pointing out that there’s been a death in the family.
Ответитьso.. what is dowery ? is it only just for the groom ? i thought it was only for the bride
My fair lady
I was hoping u would also talk about Cressida dress, cuz we all know her dress in every season always so... luxurious
Accurancy gives a stamp of quality.
