I do feel we need to be conscious and considerate of where the head scarf as a chic accessory comes from as it has been frequently worn and often looked down upon. The durag from Black culture for example or as you said it’s very “bohemian” styled which is widely known to be appropriation of the Romani people, specifically the diklo in this case. Just be thoughtful of where these trends come from and your place of privilege in society!
