I would have assumed that with No field winding whatsoever, that it wouldnt spin because you need a magnet of some sort for the motor to turn ??

on the saw motor,the motor burned to fire and the fire disconnected the motor wire and you reconnected the motor wire back on to the saw motor and then you turned back on the saw motor and the saw motor burned out and tried again and the saw motor was sceased and the saw motor was making buzzing sounds
