How To Add Layers To Hair Without Compromising The Perimeter

How would you go about the bottom half if you or client feel like it’s not blended enough even though your trying to keep perimeter?

I worked as a hairdresser for about ten years and learnt about overdirection with layers x I have noticed a lot of hairdressers do not get taught this technique which retains length x Please teach this to your hairdressers otherwise you end up with a short layer at the top on the right hand side,if you do not use overdirection to the other side of the head!
