This is a great reading and makes sense. Maye the NDA can be nulled and voided if they defrauded him on the true numbers, info of the organization and the role they wanted him to play. He wouldn't have known the true "inner workings", and actual financial picture of the organization was until he got into the seat and had access to the books and paper trail which were likely chaotic and muddy but saw the red flags and got out fast. They've put him at potential risk by bringing him into the mess because he could be questioned or summoned if there are future legal/IRS issues. All IMO.

If money is being funneled to Marcus Anderson, perhaps it's because M.A. is the dealer who provides H&M with the substances they enjoy using & abusing. I wonder if M.A. procured infants for The Harkles. As a person who's worked under contract in several arrangements. 1) an NDA can be separate and not contingent on payment, 2) the contract breaks if you don't get paid per agreement or you don't agree to a change in arrangement, either payment or in duties. 3) the arrangement may have been project based and whatever he worked on was completed or wasn't doable (e.g. getting Meth onstage at the Dem convention) Other reasons: He may have departed if he saw illegal acts OR if he was asked to do something illegal. He figured if he stuck around, he'd be deposed about something.
Finally, he simply may have gotten the better offer and pulled chocks. Pros in PR and communications generally keep lips zipped.
