I wasn’t aware of this channel I’ve been missing out
ОтветитьLooks like an homage of the original seiko alpinist
ОтветитьHaha. It's cute. More like a $899 watch. "Highly modified SW"...for the guy who has a highly modified Nissan Altima. Give me a break.
ОтветитьSo affordable hahaha
ОтветитьNo way would I pay $2500 for that. I'd go with a Lum-Tec and save $1500.
ОтветитьI loved it the moment I saw it.
ОтветитьIf you divide 28,800 vph by 3600 seconds per hour you get 8 beats per second
ОтветитьThat thing looks amazing. The case shape is great, especially the way it shrouds the crown. I dig it. Now I just gotta find that coin.
ОтветитьI absolutely love everything about this watch. But, every time I see it, I think one thing....Titanium.
ОтветитьThe first time I looked at this watch, I liked it. Then after staring at it for a while, it appears to have way too many competing things going on. Each individual element is really nice by itself (too many leading actors and not enough supporting cast). Just an opinion.
ОтветитьThe problem with these automatic timepieces, especially the ones with their modified movements is the after purchase cost to keep them running in top form. A full service "which has to be done every three to five years" by a certified watchmaker can run into the hundreds.
ОтветитьNice looking but at that price point there’s a lot of competition. I’d sooner buy a Sumo AND Capt Willard for the same price.
ОтветитьExceptional clasps? Come on Teddy, are you going commercial? If so, I don't agree, but understand your comment. If not...., well, then you might just be mistaken.
ОтветитьGreat review. Striking design
ОтветитьVery Nice I love it
ОтветитьThat's niche.
ОтветитьI think the case size should be 43mm considering the kind of watch it is. What is your opinion? I just bought one from Maryland I will receive it next week.
ОтветитьKeep doing what you're doing man! It's unbelievable you have less than 10k subs
ОтветитьG(erman)-Shock
ОтветитьThat’s a really interesting looking watch hahahah
Ответитьi dont like that ugly rolex like magnifying date window. this watch reminds me of my zodiac super sea wolf 53
ОтветитьGreat video and a really interesting watch. Thanks, I really enjoy your channels and appreciate all the content.
ОтветитьI'm waching this watch again and again but for my 6.5 inch wrist it's big!if it is smaller maybe 38 mm e lug to lug 45...
ОтветитьOutstanding Watch
ОтветитьThis tough watch is missing a dive bezel imo
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьBuy a Vostok
Ответитьif the bracelet had the push-button clasp I would buy this watch ...
ОтветитьBeautiful tool watch. I have two watches ( B & R and Fortis) where I had to cut the rubber bracelet. Nice for a bespoke fit but not for resale because of that reason. You can go down in size but NEVER UP in a drastic way on the rubber.
ОтветитьI have a suggestion. At the end of your watch reviews, I think it would be nice for you to rate a watch out of 5 or 10 for value for money. It isn't a secret some of us who know less about watches and more about collecting, are inspired by your videos.
Ответить@Eddie Jones - I can't add any more to your comment other than I second that motion of this being in everybody's roster.
@Teddy Baldassarre - Thanks for sharing this great timepiece.
I have a smaller 6.5 in wrist. How do you think it would wear? Too large?
ОтветитьIt is a watch that, when worn on the wrist, holds many surprises. From quality to wearability. When I put it on my wrist I said to myself "this is my watch".
Many do not know that the steel of this Muhle was worked with the Kolsterising technique, which makes the metal 3 times more resistant to corrosion. It also makes the steel hypoallergenic and antimagnetic.
A unique watch with great build quality.
Excellent review. I'm curious exactly what they do the the SW200 to modify it.....?
ОтветитьThis is king shit of fuck mountain for tool watches. Bad ass. I have to have one.
ОтветитьOther companies: look, our watch can do 300 meters and only needs to be 16mm thick to do so!
Them: Well, a Kilometer is no problem. 13 and a half mm. Deal with it.
It's a really nice watch and very durable but.. I wish Mühle had made 2 improvements. I'd like a push button clasp on the metal bracelet and some improvement to the power reserve of the Selitta. They do an extensive mod of that movement and it's stuck with its 38 hour reserve which isn't great for an automatic watch in 2022. It's good value for money though. You can feel the quality of the build when you put it on.
ОтветитьBought mine on a bracelet in Munich this summer. It is my new workhorse.
ОтветитьSuper video Teddy. Really like the look of this piece. Could I ask what are its likely service requirements ( and their likely costs) assuming regular but fairly unexceptional wear ( ie not as part of some SAR organisation!!)? I am concerned because of the movement modifications which might render it a problem for servicing elsewhere than with Muehle themselves?
ОтветитьTeddy does the rubber bezel tear or no?
ОтветитьI bought this a few months back- really cool experience on the wrist. It’s a bit heavy, but balances nice due to the case shape.
When Muhle first tested this watch for dive depth, the watch was able to withstand pressure at 2400 m, at which point the steel case-back caved in… the 4mm sapphire crystal didn’t break, nor did the watch take on any water 💯
I just ordered one today. Thanks Teddy for letting me know when it came in. You’re the best
ОтветитьI really want this watch!
ОтветитьOverpriced
ОтветитьGreat watch. Have bought three
ОтветитьMe: I have a dive certified watch with 300m of water resistance.
Muhle: This isn't a dive watch and has 1000m of water resistance. Hold my beer.
Simple looking but bold statement watch. I love mine in white.
ОтветитьJust picked up this tool a few weeks ago from Teddys online store- thoroughly enjoying it. I’m curious though- just what TYPE or category does this piece fall under? A cursory review had me initially thinking “diver”, but there’s no bezel and yet it “seems” to hit the mark with all the other dive watch prerequisites. Meh, love it all the same.
ОтветитьI have the 30th anniversary edition in blue. I love it. This is my second SAR. I have about 50 high watches and this is one of my favorites.
