I have lost 40 pounds and am feeling so much better. I have more to go but I want how I eat to become second nature to me. I love all your recipes and information.

ОтветитьThank you for your videos. I’ve been doing Keto for 4 weeks but haven’t lost any weight. I had my gallbladder removed 3 months ago and I’m wondering if that is why because my body can’t break down the fats. I’m going to give low carb a go.
ОтветитьI did keto earlier in the year and lost 15 pounds now with low carb I've been able to keep it off. The only carb I've had today is some 2% milk in my coffee and a small potato. My goal is to loose 20 more!

ОтветитьOne of your best videos. I am so glad I watched. I have medical issues that mean I have to cut carbs and a bounce back and forth between the keto recipes and an occasional low carb. It has been going well. My Dr. is impressed. I am learning every day.

ОтветитьI’ve been on low carb keto I don’t know I don’t focus on having fats just being low carb I finished 4 weeks today I lost about 5 kgs so far. But I was thinking the same low carb would be easier but I don’t know how to increase those carbs because I was trying to be below 50 gram net carbs

I don't eat chicken breast unless it's organic, grass fed, no hormones, because the hormones and chemicals settle in the non moving parts
Low carb/keto and fasting
ОтветитьI went on Keto, lost 100 lbs in a year and had 50 to go. Life got in the way and I gained it back. Now I'm on round two. It's much harder for me because I'm type 2 so I need very restrictive and after a while it just feels like I can't do this anymore. So this time I'm doing keto but allowing low carb moments, no sugar but occasional bread or potatoes and other healthy carbs when I have a moment or am in a public space with limited options. I don't have a scale so I can't tell you how much I've lost because I've got a scale compulsion. I am feeling better, the swelling and bloating has gone away so I know it's working, it just takes time. I also have the challenge of being a woman approaching the senior years which also slows it down. I have the advantage of knowing it works.
ОтветитьGreat video !! I’ve learn a lot but there is something that everyone should know about weight loss !! It’s really simple : Calories In calories out , if your not below maintenance you won’t lose fat !!
That’s why exercise/cardio/High neat is really important for those who don’t want to count their calories intake!!
So right now I’m doing 8/16 fasting with less than 20G of carbs and a 500 deficit calories and at least 30 mins of cardio/days !!! I can loose 2lbs/per week! Higher than this it’s not recommended!!!
Oh and yes Keto it’s restricting and for me it’s feel like a diet !! But I love the grind so much !! 😊

ОтветитьWhat's the difference between low carb and Dr. Atkins? Boomers should be skinny because it was the rage in the 70s. If you can't maintain the weight comes back. So choose your diet wisely.
ОтветитьShe is so right i went on keto, fasting, gym, loss weight , but i was weak headache, heart pumping fast, went to gym, felt weak and tired .. how stupid i was attempting body pump, i was weak.. i enjoyed the food.. i guess what i put the ..weight back on but i am also an emtional eater too..
So now i learning better i thick keto mixed with low carb works better for me. The truth is what i want is a lifestyle not to be on a diet,
Now i have I B S , irritable bowels, but you know what i am glad it happend to me, so i can stop now..and start taking care of my health... yesterday i walk justvdown the road, and i run a little, guys the feeling and reflection of how it made me feel tap back into my memory.. so i going a lityle more, a lityle more, a little more.. i got someone to help me clean my flat, so i feel i have a clear mind and i already have plan to do buy weights and work out..

ОтветитьNew subscriber! I am always attempting to follow keto but end up low carb. I have no idea which is "healthier" for me. I am NOT trying to lose weight, I am trying to reduce inflammation (I have SLE). So many doctors have conflicting info (some say I should go raw vegan, some say I should follow carnivore!). If anyone here has insight, please provide!!! 🙏
ОтветитьYour going to laugh at this one ,I hit that plateau ,I was hungry but too lazy to cook so I ate a whole bag of pork skins the spicy baconett and I had a huge break through release that kind of scared me , honestly didn’t know so much food could be inside the stomach yeah after that my gut health and metabolism has really picked up good , I’m super happy , thank you Myra .you’re videos are so very helpful

ОтветитьLove Keto but arms and legs to skinny but belly still a little large. But dropping weight in arms and legs so don't want to do that. I am looking for a few alterations so I can be healthier. Have been on Keto for a month or so. I am doing Intermittent fasting.
ОтветитьThank you I decided to change from keto to carb 100 or eating under 100 grams of carbs so Keto hmmm... it was not for me I got sick on keto and it was probably the keto flu but I hated it and I could not workout and I love working out I had no energy so carb 100 is working for me and I am 1 month in and have dropped 6 pounds I am excited because I can have apples and pineapples and more dark chocolate! yessss I still use keto cook books and southern keto cook books but also atkins 100. You should do what works for you boo. If you cant do it for life whats the point. I did cut out most breads, rice and pasta and junk foods but I can have any fruit in moderation. ОтветитьI am a type 2 diabetic, and I have been a combo low carb/ keto lifestyle for the past 3 years.
So in one way, I am keto because I do under 20 g of carbs per day and I do a lot of intermittent fasting every day and I’m doing a couple hours exercise every day too.
I don’t do high fat though, so that is where I am low carb, because I usually eat low fat, high protein, except I don’t snack a lot.
In the past three years, I have lost about 55 pounds doing low-carb/keto diet. I am 5’7” and I weigh 135 pounds now. I would like to lose another 15 pounds.
I didn’t start doing low-carb/keto to lose weight, I did it more to try to get my blood sugar under control and lower my blood sugar naturally, and become more healthy.
The reason why I probably only lost 55 pounds in three years is because I don’t do the high fat in keto, I am a vegetarian, so I don’t eat meat. I eat eggs, fish, vegetables, and some lower carb/ low sugar fruit like berries.
I have managed to lower my blood sugar A1C from 10 down to around 5.3.
The low carb/keto is my lifestyle now not a diet!!!
Watching low carb love, and Beat Diabetes channels have really helped me turn my health problems around!!!😅❤

ОтветитьI still had surgery gravings on keto and would make far bombs or get keto snacks. I’m wanting get back into low carb it seems more sustainable. I just made your low carb keto Chipolte bow we didn’t have quacamole so I sub for sour cream
ОтветитьMost of the experts in this area focus on TOTAL, not net carbs. It’s very easy to eat a whole bunch of keto junk food and keep it under 20 net carbs, but in reality eat 100s of total carbs. It’s usually the fake sugar foods, and some of the can definitely impact the glucose and insulin of people. Not to mention, for those who can’t moderate very well, it’s often not a good idea to have anything sweet tasting.
I think it’s kind of a joke to use net carbs.
Does it work if I’m in n keto bt don’t take any oil or butter cuz my stomach don’t handle it

I am just starting my weight loss to health journey (again) After losing my mom I slipped into a depression. I put on 50 pounds and now I am ready to get it off. I've been subscribed to your channel for probably a year or more, but wasn't ready until now to commit to myself. I have been back and forth how to approach losing the weight and after watching this video, I believe low carb is my answer. I believe it will more sustainable for myself. I hope I have success. I'm excited to begin and that's just part of the battle. :) Thank you for all the information and I look forward to catching up on all the videos I've missed.
