I would assume they would use a fake gun for this episode but they keep the slide pulled back and locked when pointed at Amir's head which seems like a weird thing to do unless you're using a real gun and that's a better way to ensure its unloaded at all times during filming. Or it just adds to the insanity that is Jake and Amir and they both know nothing about guns.

I love that they have it for half the skit with the slide locked back showing that there’s nothing in the chamber. And then when it supposedly goes off the slide goes back to normal. But I’ll also be honest I get nervous whenever I see people in shows or sketches have their fingers all over the trigger when they’re just holding the gun. I know it was the point that Amir shouldn’t have a gun but it’s very nerve wracking to see such terrible trigger discipline even on a prop gun

Fun fact: You can see eyeliner still on amir Because the previous episode was the mime episode and they often did episodes in batches. Meaning they did the mime video, amir had to get cleaned up and then they filmed this. That's why it looks like he has eyeliner on.
