Rich, you keep harping on about hypergamy and "putting a dent in the universe" as if to say that Giselle should value his success and wealth more. But it seems like you aren't quite understanding that women don't value this as much men do. You keep saying that men are success objects to women, but I don't believe it's that simple. She left him for a guy who was LESS successful, which is the opposite of hypergamy (in the sense of success and wealth anyway). Now, if you define hypergamy as "best option" by any metric that SHE values, then perhaps you are onto something. It could be that Tom lost interest in her sexually as she got older, and so he wasn't exciting her as much in the bedroom. The familiarity could also mean she was just bored with him. It could also be literally what she said, in that he wasn't around enough. She sacrificed her own modelling/business goals so he could pursue his career and now that he's got all his wins, she sees it as payback time. She wants him around at home, to be more of a family man, because women value emotional connection and quality time. I suspect the Jujitsu instructor gave her the novelty/excitement of something new, and because his business wasn't as demanding has Tom's career, he probably spent more quality time with her and made her feel more valued. It's all about the feels, not the money. I'm not excusing her behaviour, I'm just trying to explain it how I see it.

I think Tom Brady unretired because he went to see Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Manchester United back in 2021 I believe. Tom Brady is a guy who thrives on adversity. He was the last quarterback taken in the draft. Nobody thought he would amount to much, but he seized his opportunity when he got it. Even in college, it was the same thing. He never really had the best players around him, with the exception of Randy Moss who was around for a little while at the end of Randy’s career. But Tom always made the guys around him better. Even in the end, when he was on the brink, his wife was cozying up to another man and threatening to leave him if he didn’t bend the knee, he stuck to his guns, came back, and won yet again. I’m not the type to partake in idolatry, but you have to give credit where it’s due. The guy is an absolute icon, and honestly a role model for all men.
