ОтветитьAsh, that’s yummy dhalpuri. When did you add salt to the dhal? I noticed in your original recipe, you used 1 tps baking powder and this one was 11/2 tsp. Does that make it softer? Thanks so much, I’m always trying different chef recipes.

ОтветитьThe word Dhal comes from the verb Dhalna which means to descend (suhani raat dhal chuki) (the night is coming to an end) the word dal means beans while masoor dal means (half dal) in this case split peas.

When you make round ball. Press a bit and turn circular in hand upto size of puri. Then belo with belna.
When you do belo with round ball, dal or stuffing doesn't come to end of dal puri.
You will get practice.
