I tried a few good coffee shops last time I visited! Highly recommend Blank Street Coffee. They have a daydream latte and a daydream matcha, and they're both super yummy. I'm missing the daydream drinks to this day and wish I could go back alreadyyyy! 787 Coffee Co. is also pretty unique. They make drinks based on Mexican desserts like dulche de leche and horchata (among other flavors). They also ask if you want to customize the coffee beans and give you recommendations for which beans taste good in what drink. My favorite was the tres leches latte!

I went to Matchful When I went to NYC last and it was wonderful! Especially around the holidays cause they have an eggnog matcha! 🍵 💚 Bryant park was the best, again INCREDIBLE during the holidays. Bagels, Tompkins square bagels are hands down THE BEST bagels I have ever had. ❤ also Rays candy store fried Oreos! ❤

There two kava bars in Oakland that I know of, could be more. There was one in San Francisco but it's temporarily closed because the whole building needs to be renovated for structural reasons.
