The Cadillac of work benches. 🛠
ОтветитьWoodglut has a lot of designs to choose from.
ОтветитьThats a nice bench and you seem like a good guy 👍
That timber quality looks poor, you've got the skill, you should make this out of a nice hardwood it will last 100 times longer and look better.
Great bench though and good skills
Lumber soft porn?
ОтветитьRockler has a great tenioning jig for use w/your table saw.
ОтветитьGreat !!!!!
ОтветитьSuch a waste of trees
ОтветитьThat Bench is amazing!
ОтветитьUhh has that base timber got live woodworm ?
ОтветитьWhat kind of wood is that? SYP? I guess you could use any wood.
ОтветитьNice! You stole my idea LoL. I’m building something similar to this. Nice table. I really like it. Great work.
ОтветитьSad that you had to resort to machines. When I made mine I only used hand tools, much more satisfying.
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI thought this was going to be a handmade build . Lots of machining going on here.
ОтветитьLike from Brazil
ОтветитьWould large locking casters work Instead of the jack casters? Or would they slip under force?
ОтветитьCost being set aside, would it be better to use hardwood for the top? Or is pine preferred because the top is destined for damage and refinishing?
ОтветитьI never comment about the music, first time ever. It's very nice.
ОтветитьNice design, I like the different sides. It's like a mansion for those woodworms.
Ответитьthere's no consistency in this garbage
ОтветитьVery nice, 2 thumbs up 👍👍
ОтветитьLove the build! Very informative video, I enjoyed watching.
That is one Hog Table ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🫡
ОтветитьIs it possible to have all the additional items you added to the bench listed in the description, with links to where we can get them? i.e. the vice and hold downs...etc...
ОтветитьBeautiful build. What kind of wood did you use?
ОтветитьThank you for your generosity in sharing the plans.
Ответитьwhere can I buy those flip down castors
ОтветитьGreat bench! I am building what started as a "Paul Sellers" style English bench but have been changing features as I went. I removed the tool well and was going to make a wide (27" or so) solid top laminated top, but ended up gluing together two 12" wide sections (max of my workspace/clamps/ablity to move the top alone) so was thinking of an open center portion like yours, but didn't think of the ablity to create a stop! I was just going to use it as a position to place clamps if needed. A lot of great ideas in this bench I can incorporate into mine!
ОтветитьGreat looking workbench. Thank you for the plans.
ОтветитьI can't download you plans; or more accurately, they will not unzip to PDF format.
ОтветитьCan't believe you have built almost the exact bench i've got in my mind, rite down to the retractable castors. watched countless videos over the past year, this is the closest to what I want to build but I really think I am going with a leg vise and the sliding deadman. Still not sure about an end vise option.
ОтветитьThe best bench is simply a very sturdy table that you can drill holes in and beat up. You don't need fancy vises. A waste of money and dangerous for tool edges to have iron like that hanging around all the time.
ОтветитьNice work. Just don't sand down your dowels... they are designed to friction fit. As long as you use glue, you can tap it in with ease
ОтветитьYou seriously need to get a riving knife for you table saw and don't stand behind the work piece....asking for kickback.
ОтветитьHeyJD, I saw hardwood and if you’d like some stock for a build let me know.
ОтветитьReally nice project!! Well done!
ОтветитьWow. And I thought I was an over-builder on my DIY wood projects... lol Just joking. Great build utilizing great skill sets.
ОтветитьBeautiful top. But no one creating their first workbench top has all your tools!
ОтветитьGood job 👍🏾
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьVery good video, but it would be much better without the obnoxious music.
