Where can I find that oversized pencil sharpener?
ОтветитьI've been building boxes for about 15 years, so I've seen a few, and yours are really top notch! Consider a card scraper for finishing down the inlay on the top. I've gouged the veneer with a hand plane by accident and it's a real buzz kill on the project! You won't do that with a card scraper.
ОтветитьBeautiful box! Who makes the dowel cutting jig that you used? I’m gathering parts & tools to make boxes for B-day presents this year. Thx.

ОтветитьWhat vacuum bag are you using? It looks like the inexpensive kind people use for clothing storage (Like the old infomercials)
ОтветитьWhat is the recipe for the finish that you used?
ОтветитьHow do you size the trench for the hinge? Really need one of these lol
Ответитьis that veneer you use for the light colored wood inlay?
Ответитьwas the last finish coat bees wax or something ?
Ответитьwhat is this vacuum bag you used?
Ответитьgreat video- just the right amt. of background music-
ОтветитьWhat are you using to drill the holes in the center of the dowels?
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible! What a joy to watch!
ОтветитьQuestion. Is the dowel for the hinge the same thickness of the sides of the box. Wanting to try the hidden hinge..
ОтветитьI just recently tried to resolve a problem with Google. Mind bendingly difficult. Nothing but robo response. Tried calling their customer service at 3 pm on Thursday. Was told by the message that offices are closed. Never did get it resolved so I closed the account and started a new one
ОтветитьAnother great video! So glad I found your channel.
ОтветитьLove it . And the cunning trick 👍
ОтветитьThat veneer inlay between the burl top and the ebony sides came out great. I was a bit nervous when you brought out the saw. But it worked perfectly from what I can see. Very nice.
Ответить😃
ОтветитьThis is a joy to watch, Thanks! I also really like your mitre shooting board for use with the shooting plane, I presume you made that yourself.
ОтветитьVery nice work, learning a lot from your videos 👍🏻
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьmagnificent, thank you so much.
ОтветитьIncroyable et sublime travail 👌👍
ОтветитьAwesome,as usual. I wish you would mention the source of your tools and supplies. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьWow look at that second from last picture 😮 all them faces in that grain! Brilliant
ОтветитьVery nice box! Lovin’ the tunes too.
I made myself a magnetic plane fence to use with my #4 5 & 6 planes, very helpful.
Where did to acquire that piece of ebony? Thanks
Gorgeous jewelry box. Thanks for posting the video. Great job!
Ответитьnice work
ОтветитьSorry, every detail is beautiful but the lid handle!😢
ОтветитьLike the vacuum bags. Can you share where you got them?
ОтветитьPerfect job, thank you so much for great video
Ответитьwhere can i find a plainer setup like that?
ОтветитьLovely clear video.Good to see a project thats demanding but not too complicated- and the wooden hinge comes out a treat.Well done!
Ответитьbeautiful box and I love watching you work, very inspirational. Pleas can the music its gets annoying after a couple minutes it made want to stop the vid but I had to see the finish. thank you.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of this drill with which you can drill holes in the middle?
Very nice Work !
Ebony, tough on tools. Great video.
ОтветитьExcuse me.. Can you help me get music for carpentry work
ОтветитьI made a video on how I make that hinge. Almost all the boxes I sell though my website and Etsy store have that hinge...I even invented a wooden latch for the front to match it. I do things a little different based on my own tools and experiences but, largely the same...even the same quick-clamps...lol. Great video.
ОтветитьYou sir take master craftsman to another level thank you 😅🎉
ОтветитьBeautiful workmanship. There’s nothing like the beauty of natural wood. Hundreds of varieties.
ОтветитьNice one! Extra points for hand tools!
ОтветитьBeautiful! I’m such a sucker for burls!
Ответитьdo you have a link to the "oversized pencil sharpener"?
ОтветитьEbony? Don’t want much of that stuff on the shop floor!

ОтветитьBeautiful..... What are your plans for the inside?
ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning amazing work.
