2025 Ram 1500 with the 3L hurricane twin turbo inline-6 engine has a couple a Design benefits like the fully closed deck block design. this adds a ton of strength to the engine block, something the 3.5L ecoboost engine does not have because it features a weaker open deck block design.

All the big diesel engines I work on as a diesel mechanic use the same block design as this 3L hurricane because it is the stronger way to go.
