I didn't get it at the time, but Trump's answer makes sense now. When asked how imminent an attack on Iran by Israel was, Trump said "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon." He was admitting, that the US was part of any Israeli attack on Iran. People have to realize that Trump does not care about peace, what he cares about is being a dictator and tyrant, having people bow down to him, one way or another. This is the reason he happily admits to being part of the attack on Iran, which was against international law.
