Don't love tis trade for either team but the Knicks are better today then they were yesterday so that's always a good thing. But what this trade really means is that Randle was not going to play with the Nova-Crew &it was even worse behind the scenes then we all thought. But I think the T-Wolves use Randle's contract to ship him somewhere else &get even deeper; the Hawks, Nets, Bulls &Pelicans could all trade for Randle, with the teams hoping he'll opt-out. In this cap-hell era freeing up $30-million is extremely helpful

Now we will never see the Knicks Villanova 4 on the court.

This was tough to watch

Someone at ESPN clearly got pissed at Zach for some reason. Zach being let go is one more reason to avoid any ESPN basketball coverage. Some of the stuff out of the mouth of Perkins, is really absolute bs. He wasn't like that at the beginning, but he's been doubling down on being a caricature. Guess he's getting paid to make ppl NOT watch ESPN basketball coverage. Worse than even McCants on Gilbert Arenas show, and that's saying something cos even McCants gets some stuff right sometimes.

Nothing to watch while the status of Inside the NBA's quartet is still indefinite. They'll be somewhere, but as it stands thus far, they are 🚫 going to be on together.

As far as the trade goes, not great for Knicks. No depth, no defense as Mikal coming in is negated by KAT. And KAT will be like Randle a bit, in getting injured at the most inopportune time. Losing Donte is tough. Losing any 1st round draft capital, no matter how small, isn't worth it bringing in KAT imo.

TBA on Wolves till they sort out Gobert's future. But getting Donte in is already a win. A fighter and contributor, ready to defend or score when the team needs it. Flipping KAT for 1st round draft capital is a good deal, and its understandable why Wolves jumped at the deal especially since they get Donte as well. Randle still has some trade value, even with his recent subpar health history.

Hoping for the best for the New York Knicks. I'm not happy about the trade, but I understand the logic of the trade. Love that KAT is finally a Knick. Sad to see Randle & DiVicienzo go.
