20-21 Florida All-State 11th & 12th grade Lyrical flute etude, Beth Larsen, Flute

This is Beth Larsen performing the required Lyrical flute etude for the 20-21 Florida All-State 11th and 12th grade band audition. The music for this can be found in the Melodious and Progressive Studies for Flute, book 1, revised by Robert Cavally, p. 12, Lento by Massenet. Mrs. Larsen plays a 9k Brannen flute with an Abell headjoint made of mopane (exotic wood).

Beth Larsen plays 2nd Flute/piccolo in the Southwest Florida Symphony and the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra. She also performs regularly as 3rd flute/piccolo with the Naples Philharmonic and the Sarasota Orchestra. She teaches flute and piccolo at Monarch Music of Naples and in her home studio in Fort Myers, FL
