She is good choice if you need more healer when clearing Tower of Adversity

I'm curious if you saw jinshi's forte raise faster given the increase in coordinated damage. Also, in the Yinlin example- when she uses her charged attack and causes the off field strikes, are those damage strikes doubled while yinlin is off field?

It's great that Wuthering Waves is starting to fill out the support character role because it was quite lacking in the beginning.

I feel Youhu is going to be emblematic of how most post-launch 4* characters will be. I'm thinking primarily of some special niche (like buffing coordinated attacks from Youhu's outro skill) but not being too impressive out of that. Most of the focus will on the featured 5* characters of course.

I would say that Baizhi and Youhu seem relatively equal as 4* supports. Baizhu is more of a general support/healer while Youhu will benefit teams with a strong coordinated attacker.

I don't think that Kuro is going to release a coordinated attacker that has very high damage multipliers as ILosetoWin speculates, unless such a character could only use coordinated attacks on field (so essentially a main DPS). If such a character was to exist that Youhu would easily fit in as the best support for such a character. Otherwise, simply getting more Sub DPS/Off Field coordinated attacks will make Youhu more valuable in the long run.

She will be in the standard banner in the future iirc, so if you guys are low on pulls and need to save for Camellya, you can wait, she will spook you anyway.
There's also an option to outright buy her from the shop with 80 corals.

She is fun, before C6 she is slightly better than Baizhi and about as good as Verina on team with off field dmg so she is great addition since ideally we need 3 support anyway.

If you somehow manage to get her c6 and build her properly she can be a proper sub dps in certain team making her competing with Shorekeeper S0r0

If you somehow dont have Shorekeeper then getting her from shop is absolutely worth it

But if you have Shorekeeper and Verina she is whatever. I get her cuz I can and I like her, seeing my Yinlin deal 10k+ off field is funny and I also like using her with Mortefi or Zhezhi for daily and roaming, she is great! Shorekeeper take a lot more time to reach her peak potential which is not ideal in overworls, Verina or Youhu is more comfy to me

Just bought some Lunite, I bought the 1980 one, It will give double only once per price tier. I just did two 10 convenes one after the other got Jiyan and Youhu straight away.

her biggest plus is she is performing with such low investment
obviously she is a 4 star and she will never match a shorekeeper or verina but if you are interested in good design and fun mechanics this character is for you !

On the account where I wanted Youhu, I got 5 copies of Sanhua (already S6). On the account where I wanted Sanhua copies, I got 3 copies of Youhu. Actually rigged. We need a 4 star selector pity system (at least every other 50/50 win should give the one you want).

Consider giving her the craftable 4* gauntlet that boost Dodge counter.

She would have been useful, if they'd released her before Shorekeeper.
Now we currently have Shorekeeper, Verina, Baizhi for the three needed healers, so Youhu is pointless.
As it is, Baizhi is going to be powercrept by the next limited 5* sustain, and Youhu is in exactly the same situation.
